Greetings fellow achromatic knights

I believe that the only issue that you can't switch the camo pattern on your HeroMechs has something to do with "how things are coded"

there are two options - unlockable and use only once
unlockable are for all chassis of a BattleMech Type; One Use - is specific for this Mech, but you will loose it when you use an alternative camopattern... .the Hero seems to have a One Use Camo Pattern - changing the camo - and you will not longer be able to use the "hero pattern"

So instead - of locking the camo pattern shop for hero mechs - make the "hero" camo a standard unlockable for this chassis.

Would be similar to the bundles (you don't buy a Mech alone, you buy a bundle with a HeroMech and a Camo Pattern.

This would have been an option for some champion sales (you know about the Stalker 3F with the nice hotrod camo pattern)

I would rather they give access to that pattern when you purchase the Hero only. So you get the "single use" camo patter with the hero, and that opens up the option to purchase the pattern for the other mechs of the chassis alone. But you'd have to buy the Hero first.

Sort of a bonus (that you still have to pay extra for) for purchasing Hero mechs.

Yes me to! I would love to get rid of most hero paint jobs to!

And yes buy the hero buy the pattern. Anything that adds more diversity is a good thing and will make the hero mechs even more unique for those who will keep the original pattern because lots of other users will change theirs.

Besides I do not understand those "no - its unique" voters!? They really think it is "unique" to run around in their hero mechs with the "exact same pattern as all others"!? Yeah that truly is unique...

Well I expect them to be grudging folks and trolls, yet there has not been one single valid argument from their side ever! So PGI until they bring up a point do not regard their votes with full impact please.
