I'm hoping for a tight fitting spandex flight suit and a mixtape of 70's disco funk music tracks to play in the cockpit.

Leather... leather pants and seats, also jumpsuit better be yellow - for prices they ask I ask premium custom made stuff. :)

i became a casual player after they started dropping the ball left and right lol. I have about 55 mechs with 30+ of them mastered.

After reading somewhere that they said it costs like 200k for them to design and implement a new mech that was a big WTF moment for me. I shouldn't have to list the things wrong with that fact.

Game development is extremely expensive you would be surprised how much everything costs you got to think roughly 4 weeks to create a mech with standard salaries being around average for a game dev. your looking at roughly 1,000 dollars a week per a person that's not including any over time of any sort. that's 50k+ a week. 200k, sounds quite reasonable. I know not all the dev's are working on one mech together but you still have to pay for the entire team that entire time you are developing a single mech though so their needs to be a profit from that when it's your primary source of income.

They might have less than that, but im not sure

I counted 53 on the programming staff in this list http://mwomercs.com/credits

If it takes 4 weeks for 53 "Programmers" to create one mech, then perhaps they'd be better off shifting the work over to the less expensive "Graphic artists and 3d modelers/animators" and let the programmers do what they were hired to do...

OP wants the reward unlocked with requires people to spend money. They lost the last of my faith in them when they implemented ghost heat. They have done nothing lately to earn any faith from the players. I'm not falling for the bling and booty of the new clan mechs to give them more money lol. I am chill because frankly i play this game once in a blue moon anymore usually on special weekends. But i have to ask how long are people supposed to be patient? I mean U.I 2.0 is still borderline useless (can i please get the option to filter my equipment by what i actually have? at least for engines)

The OP wants unlocks that are based on PGI artificially adjusting the numbers when they see fit. Marketing, marketing, marketing.

Anybody notice how at first it seemed to arbitrarily go up by increments of 5% and now all of a sudden it's really granular? This makes me think either they were adjusting that number manually or they've finally settled on a much lower number based on current rate of clan sales because their initial projection was way off. Either way, they're definitely not spurring confidence. I already bought in because I still like playing and each patch has been relatively solid in the past few months (IMO anyway). Still, judging by their behavior with the clan packs, I'm a little wary of how this is all going to turn out. First it was "pay us $240." Then it was "Hey, you can pay us for just the ones you want." Then came "pay us something and each month we'll give you a neat bonus." Currently, it is "please give us money and if you do you can have all that other stuff PLUS THE MYSTERY BOX." Kind of scary.

Yes, it was in increments of 5%, however due to roundings (5% roundings), yesterday it jumped to 100% and there was no reward shown up. The admins then changed the value to 0.1% increments (it then displayed 96.6% I believe) to show the real percentage.

to develop ONE mech? sorry i call BS, One art guy 40-60k a year 1 programmer 40-90k a year +building/equipment so unless these guys are doing ONE mech a year which if they are thats pathetic there is no reason that should be the cost for one mech. Mind you there is a guy on the forums who using the same dev items they have access to has designed dozens of his own mechs in his spare time. Don't have link to thread but i can try and find it.

If their game engine is so crappy that making new mechs is THAT complicated then they have already made some critical errors that jepordize the future of this game.

had to go back, byran stated in pax that mechs cost around 60k. now we can assume a little more or a little less but take 60k for about each model that had to make+ mechs that are being modeled and or are coming in that need to be modeled. You can do the math or a little bit of research on cost of modeling. The source of info came from byran in the pax east panel at about 20:00

Not really. Now it's 100.0% and no reward is showing up. That's trolling.
