Found a look thru hill, fire weaps thru hill on Caustic. Not sure if it will work on other like terrain in other maps, but this needs to be fixed.

Behind a certain berm, I can look through the hill into the cauldron, get locks, etc. I get a line of sight on folks I should not be seeing. Seems like the physics of getting just between two terrain boxes will let you see through them all, and fire as if from between them.

Fix this.

In this screen, I am behind the berm at F3, but can see through it (I see the Bravo Battlemaster there, through the rock.) I could back up and see his buddies through the rock, too, his buddies up there on the right, could target / see / shoot them through this window.

On this subject there has long been a huge problem with terrain morphing or disappearing when you move a certain distance. Notice how on the screenshot above several of the mechs seem to be floating in mid-air? They're actually standing on solid ground, but you can't see it from a few hundred meters out.

Not only does it allow you to see enemies behind cover, but it makes you think targets are standing in the open when they aren't. This results in a lot of missed shots and frustration.

Caustic is really buggy in this regard. River City has a ton of problems with buildings being see-through at a distance. I'm not sure what you guys did a couple months ago, but it really screwed things up. Terrain is often drawn wildly different at a distance.

Here is what I mean:

It's not until I get right in his face that the terrain accurately reflects reality and you can see his feet are squarely on the ground.

Has this only just now happened, and are you using DX11 now with this bug? That could pose problems if there is mapping issues with terrain/textures from DX9 and DX11. And sorry for dropping an Arty on you the other day Hellen... you just stalked off in your Stalker on Alpine Peaks and we had to track you down with seconds to spare LOL!

Last year sometime had found people shooting through buildings without jumping above them etc. It was fixed pretty fast, but still frustrating when that kind stuff happens. Thank you for letting us know about this and bringing it to everyone's attention so it gets fixed.
