There seems to be a bug with DX11 enabled that is locking the frame rate to 30 fps instead o 60 fps when vertical sync is enabled. I have confirmed this by going through all the combinations of settings on my client.

This is likely the cause of at least some of the complaints people are making about frame rate hits in DX11, at least if your frame rate in DX11 is exactly 30 fps (it will likely be higher if you turn of vsync).

There is still a performance hit with DX11 though, without a doubt. My frame rate is about 20% lower using the same settings and just going from DX9 to DX11.

Do other people see this as well, or is it just me?

I had this while playing Crysis, and it has something to do with the monitor and the DX factor... was also forced window.
I know this help very little.

Have experienced the same thing. But first time it was capped at 20 fps in mechlab. I turned v-sync off it was back to normal but with the abt 20 % hit to fps you mentioned. In the end results it seemed to be capping the 30 fps you said. Don´t know what the problem is but turned back to dx 9 anyway. Playing fullscreen mode if anyone wants to know.
