New to the forum guys, love the game. After this update I can't even get to the mech bay. I log in, the loading screen runs, then the window closes like nothing ever happened. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the game, ran the patch tool and nothing seems to have helped. I'm running windows 8.1 on a low end computer but had no issues until this update. Any help will be appreciated.

I am experiencing an Identical issue and I ran the game well at Med settings before patch. I have tried the same steps with no resolution. My system is spec'd here http://www.passmark....id=10930828781. Trying an update to my graphics driver now. Will report back if any change.

Crash to desktop after I hit login every time. Can't play game at this time.
Used Repair tool. Unistalled and reinstalled game.
Updated my display driver with no changes. Also did as suggested in the original post here http://mwomercs.com/...feedback-13273/.
No change even after reboot and deleting the shaders folder. Again my system specs are here http://www.passmark....?id=10930828781 . My most recent crash dump and Log Backup are shown below.

Try using the MWO Repair Tool. :

Here the Link to the Repair Tool Thread.

You could just have a Simple Problem of a Bad File.

Thanks for all the responses. I did run the repair tool, after I uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Still nothing. The client runs until I click login and it starts to load at the mech bay and then the window closes right back to desktop. Very frustrating as I was really beginning to enjoy getting killed by you guys. My premium time is also ticking away, which is even more irritating.

ok reading the Log file. The game did not ID your Video Card what Video Card do you have?

Do you have DX9 installed? (Being a Windows 7 System it does not come with DX9,) A workaround goto the Systemoverride.cfg file in the MWO Directory. (If the file is not in the Root of "MechWarrior Online" Directory make a Notepad Txt file and name it "Systemoverride.cfg)

Copy the Following to the File "
; DO NOT MODIFY THIS FILE!
r_Driver="DX11"
r_txaa=0
r_msaa=0
r_postaa=0
"

Save the File.
Start MWO.

if you wish to reinstall DX9c, use the redistribution package DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010)

You aren't the only one. Been patiently waiting on support to help me with the issue since the patch day... Tried a bunch of stuff on the forums, crashes everytime.

A note to the support team: I'm lucky I'm an IT guy, your instructions you've sent others and to me in email are absolutely horrible and require a strong comfort with computers and the ability to read between for missed steps.

I actually found my graphics "card" - it's some sort of intel hd. Not too impressed. It did, however, have an update. It didn't change anything. I'm now trying to redownload divx9 from the link above. Who knows where this will end?

Update: I did all that I mentioned above and still no resolution. I started a support ticket and received a response asking me to delete my user.cfg and my user folder, both found in the game folder. This, however, had no effect on my problem.

I am by no means offering technical support for this game, just telling you guys what I was told.

I have resolved my issue with my intel HD Graphics 4000 by going to Device Manager > selecting Display Adapters > right clicking my Intel HD 4000 and selecting update driver software, selected search windows update for updates. It found an update to my graphics driver which was a few versions below what I have found on Intel's site. After reboot I was able to launch my game with no issues. Seems the Intel Driver on the Intel Site is causing issues with this game. Hope that helps any other people to look into their graphics drivers if the game CtDs on launch after login. Happy fighting.
