I just don't understand how the good hero's IE: jester, Misery, Boar, Ilya, Metal, Yen lo, Ember, X-5, Fireband are a good investment then we get absolute S%#@ mechs: Baby, grind iron, oxide, and now arguably the la badinche. I understand and respect the do not cross P2W line but like others have said for F$@%'s sake you want me to pay $35+ dollars for something that is not even on the same level as the free versions??????????????????????????

I'm not dumb enough to make other mistake like i did with Baby and I understand if I don't like it I don't have to buy it. I want MWO to succeed and grow and I'm just having a hard time understanding the reasoning for this. Sales would increase if they at least make hero's on pair with there counter parts.

I have learned to use the baby in a way that makes it average for an AWS and I'm sure you could do the same with this mech but if I'm paying money for it I shouldn't have to settle!

I think they need to remove its hand actuators and make it have two PPC barrels like the 3S arm so it looks like a giant Warhammer.

actually, not only would this be so cool looking, it'd help the 'Mech a lot as it suffers from gorilla arms worse than the atlas

I Test drove a buddies its not as bad as a Baby or Oxide and only would need the smallest of buff. It would be perfect if the weapon mounts were higher and poof that would fix a lot and make it very unique with out being P2W.

The laser in the mouth not being centered is kind of a let down also. minor details but once you can elite this mech it will be a force due to the great hit boxes it has and torso twist.

This thing absolutely needs an SRM. No SRM = No buy.

JJ or ECM would be a poor idea, IMHO, since both are borderline pay to win.

Tossing on another hardpoint is not a bad idea, or even something like an extra module slot (which takes no modeling resources.)

The mech isn't really terrible thanks to the arm-mounted weapons giving it more ability to track targets than most Banshees, but still.it is somewhat underwhelming overall. Perhaps once 3 variants are leveled, they may all truly feel worth it, but only time will tell...

Too bad about the Pretty Baby... if there was ever a Hero that needed help, that's the one.

BTW Odanan, will be even more upset if the get Lazy on the BNC-3S- Left arm better not have a hand or even look like the right, since it has a Warhammer arm mated in place of the original.

And WIP on proper Banshee with tall lanky build, and "vic rattlehead" grinning skull with shades.

Come on, PGI, one more weapon hardpoint and would be acceptable.

Or the Golden Boy. Man, what a POS. I'm not a tremendous fan of the Boar's Head either.

I actually kind of like the Oxide as an LRM platform. It's fun.

I'm throwing my support in removal of the arm actuators, make the energy hardpoints in the arm higher so it doesn't have the "shit there was a rock in front of my foot and my PPC's both hit it instead of the enemy" problem it currently has. The 3E is superior in every way to the hero variant.

I know we're afraid of pay to win and all that, but I paid almost $40 for this and it shouldn't be worse than the variants I got for imaginary money.

Extra module slot would be awesome and really set it apart, IMHO. I'll take a slightly worse mech, sometimes due the extra module slot.

I'd prefer ECM though. ;)

La Malinche is basically an AS7-K with more agility, slightly different weapon hardpoints (one of which being a useless missile hardpoint that makes your RT 30% larger), and only one AMS. It is a trash mech
