So the side torso of this victor has its tubes maxed out as 10,5,2, and no matter how hard I try, it keeps on putting the wrong SRMs into the wrong holes.
I wanted to run SRM6, SRM4 and SRM2 so they could all fire at once, but the 6 keeps getting shoved in the 2 slot.
Then I thought, screw that, I'll just run SRM6 and two streaks....nope, the SRM6 gets shoved in the 2 slot again! I bought this Victor specifically to run 3 missiles to avoid some meta...what do I do?

This can work sometimes: Sell or hide (in other mechs) all the misaligned weapons, then buy new ones in the exact order you want them in. MWO seems to save the ordering for each weapon separately, and things get messy.

Known bug with that victor, unfortunately. It started as a poorly conceived effort by PGI to make the victor less viable as a missile 'Mech by breaking up it's and constraining it's tube layout. Simply having 10 tubes and limiting launchers to volleys under 10 would have been the sensible approach. As it stands, the 2 tube slot on that victor may as well not exist unless you're running SSRMs or some sort of comedy LRM hosing build.

O_o; Oh god, I have like 30 of each.

Try adding one at a time. It wants to put the first missile into the 2-tube slot, so try the srm 2. Then save. Go back in, and try the 4. etc. Don't know if that will do anything or not, but worth a shot.
Edit: I think someone wrote up a post about this in the new player section. I think part of it was it assigned tubes alphabetically?

Just a thought: check missile bay doors. Not sure if the Victor has any, but bay doors will cause issues with missile release times.

I should of mentioned, of course, the problem happens only while your saving. Even if you get it lined up correctly in the mechbay, it changes it upon save.

The only work around I know of is to sell all offending Rockets and re buy in the order you want them. The moment there is anything in inventory you are toast, as it works by when you bought the darn thing if I recall correctly.
