So, the "strip" feature shows you can successfully remove equipment, modules, and/or armor with the click of a button. What it DOESN'T tell you is that when you strip equipment, it SELLS it all.

Bye bye XL engine! Hasta la vista, weapons! We sure had some fun times! ;)

EDIT: Whew! It treats it like a new configuration that requires the "Check out" apparently. Still, "strip" to me means drop everything back in my inventory, and that it certainly does NOT do, or at least it isn't refelecting that before checkout. When I stripped it out, everything simply disappeared (I thought it sold because I had more CBs than I expected).

Nothing is finalized until you "Check Out". No, the current implementation is not as intuitive as it should be. I highly recommend you send feedback to support@mwomercs.com. The more feedback they get the better.

The horror! I just lost months of grinding for XL engines...

... also didn't know that you couldn't pause premium time...

...move me to the 'still plays sometimes but mistrusts & will not buy from PGI' camp.

I just took an empty mech, equipped a medium laser, checked out, reloaded the mech, Stripped All, checked out. Cbills did not increase, medium laser is back in my inventory.

It sure would be nice if the stipped items went right back into the inventory. but i guess the game handles it as if it were attached to the previous version of your unsaved mech. Which is kind of weird, because when you remove other objects, manually without saving they go back to the inventory.

Now I was tempted to pour scorn on your post, but if I'm honest with myself, the only reason I still play and pay is currently for good mech designs, the weak Battlemaster and Banshee, has made me think why do I pay good money for these terrible builds.

So I think I'm joining the ranks of the Free until there is something worth buying

Wait... You can pause Premium Time now?

Edit:
Ugh.. Reading comprehension fail on my part.
I'll just crawl into a corner now, and sob to myself.

Think of the UI like someone from another country trying to learn your language. The intent and desire is there, it just kind of comes out a little wonky. But, eventually, it'll all be just fine.

I wrote this a while ago, because of boredom, and in the hope PGI actually cares.

I used the strip mech function and ALL the equipment went to my inventory.

I'm not sure what you did.

Edit; time delay as posted above.

It's all good if that option doesn't strip your mechsuit as well.
