This stat ?jerk? is not happy. No additional stats on the pages!
I reserve judgement until go-live today, but this is a let-down. I had expected to be busy coding today in response.
Oh, and for other stat jerks - www.mechstats.com - a work in progress, but we do like our stats.

Such as Kill Assist, Spot Assist, Turret Kill, Base Capture, etc, basically any activity in the game that generates Cbill or EXP are tracked.

This is why there are achievements. To make everyone feel good about themselves. That being said, I think achievements will bring a new element to the game. (positive or negative is yet to be seen.) Its something for players that have found the game stagnate over the last year or so to work for. It will bring in new players, because (as has been stated before) all the newer titles have them, and it gives that instant gratification that so many new (read: younger generation) gamers need.
As for the stats wipe, it happens... and people are unhappy, and maybe the players that have been here since closed beta have something to gripe about. But, everyone starts with a clean slate, and maybe, just maybe, you will be able to see the improvement in your gameplay. My current stats are atrocious, so I welcome the reset. The old stats will be archived, so use them to judge your current play over what was before... think of it as Stats2.0.

Thanks for your hard work on mechstats.com, Escobar. I'm really curious to see how the PGI change affects the site.

sorry, didn't mean to offend anyone. Stats-jerk is just a direct translation from russian expression to anyone, who prises game statistics.
Good luck with your stats site anyway. Looks like anything outsourse-created by professionals is better than made by PGI...

Thank you for the www.mechstats.com site Escobar! It has really given me continuing reason to keep playing. I am amazed at how much you are doing with the data. It has become a great addition to my overall play experience! Thank you!
Here is to hoping that this change will not wreck what you have been building. I am excited to see what you can make of the new scheme. Much more excited than I am about what the official stat page will look like.
Using your www.mechstats.com page really reminds me of sharing score sheets at the Virtual World Center after a match. I get the satisfaction of seeing the other players stats along with sharing mine. That really takes me back to the good days.

If you use Internet explorer, go to "view" and select "source". You can see the option of "archived" in the source code. It's there, but not active yet. It will be active after the patch later today.
If you use Firefox, just right click and select "source".
Not sure how to view the "source" code in Chrome.

If they're still going to be available, then why does it take a couple of weeks to make it so? It should all be part of the same patch.
Remember, this is the same company that couldn't even record stats for Skirmish properly when it launched. My bet is that there's going to be some sort of (planned) technical glitch and historical stats will just disappear.
Just to point out, there's already a drop down box that says "Current". Looks like we'll have the archived stuff there eventually. It might take a week or two to get it up and stable because 1) The data isn't there yet and 2) It really is a low priority, so they're leaving time for new issues.

We are excited to announce that the Achievement system for MechWarrior Online will be available in our next update currently scheduled for March 18th!
Achievements are a way to track specific accomplishments when playing the game such as, destroying a certain number of components, amassing kill assists in each weight class and various single game challenging feats! Get three kills in a single match? Hat Trick! Lose 5 components, do top damage and survive the match? You’re Liquid Metal!
A full list of Achievements and how to get them will be available in the MechWarrior Online game client on March 18 when you will begin accumulating them automatically. Your progress will be tracked in the game client.
To accommodate the new Achievement system, all player gameplay stats will be reset on March 18th. All current gameplay stats will be archived and will remain available to players in a historical view available on the website in the near future.
The stats that are being wiped are match play related. Kills, deaths, wins, losses, C-Bills/match, XP/match, kill assists, spot assists, etc. are some examples.
What will NOT be wiped are player’s current XP balance, GXP balance, C-Bill balance, Mech Trees, Pilot Trees, Inventory, Mechs/Mech Bays and ELO.
We look forward to seeing your progression through these achievements and the future additions to this exciting new feature!
this is wonderful I have been waiting to get rid of my crappy stats.
coming back from bad stats is nightmarish...
I love the achievements too... this is all great....can't wait!!!! WTG love it

Referring to the original announcement, ELO will not be reset. This will keep game balance the same as far as the teams go.
