Far from new player but since 2.0 I feel like one. Can someone answer the following:

1) Where are the cockpit items in the store? I cannot seem to find them since 2.0.

2) Why is the grid iron not a hero mech in my inventory?

3) Why does the inventory list only 27 mechs but I have 40 in the owned mech screen?

4) How do I minimize the window in game without quitting?

5) I'm a founder and phoenix member, but when I set this in my profile it still does not show up in game. Why?

6) Why do I have to re-select my game mode before every match? Do I?

Really, really not a fan of the new UI. I have gone from playing 10-15 hours a week to about zero. I want to spend MC but can no longer find what I want. Might have to take a break until UI 3.0 or my clan mechs arrive, whichever is first.

Only one I know how to answer is five. Check settings at the farthest most botton right side of screen. You might need to rent the hubble telescope to find it.You'll get an opion for it. I'm not a fan of the "new" ui either. If i had the option of choosing which ui i want to use I'd stick with the old one.

Beyond that.. New interface and PGI. Covers most of the questions you had.

My biggest gripe is that the new UI has made hitbox scanning impossible. So I can't test and probe where the hitboxes are, and thus can't debug certain issues I encounter to give messages to support about things like somehow hitting a Quickdraw in the side of the head damages its legs. Or why hitting an Awesome in the ST from the side gives you a high chance of hitting the CT, but shooting the ST from the front always gives you the ST.

1) Click on mechbay, configure a mech, and then there should be a tab with 'cockpit' in there.

2) Limited Edition is in the champion section for some odd reason as far as I know.

3) No idea, trials are included in that main 'owned' section, but besides that I think it's just UI bug.

4) Settings and putting to windowed mode would do, then minimize and come back to the game asap.

5) Once again I think it's UI, it's possible to set in options and here I believe, but I don't have either so I can't test it.

6) Yeah, don't think there's a way around that.

4) Mine worked only in fullscreen mode though, not sure why. Play around with it. (I think running a gpu monitor program caused the difference?)

3) Founders and Phoenix Mechs do not appear in the inventory, that accounts for 8 of your missing mechs, not sure about the other 5.

4) if you have another window open [alt] & [tab] or [alt] & [esc] will open the other window and minimise MWO, I was irritated to that [start] & [d] does not work since UI 2.0.

5) this apperes to be the same for everyone, must be an intended part of the UI2.0 experiance

1: You dont use the Store. No one should use the Store. Everything you need is in the mech lab ppl!

2: Because of your filter settings, you dont own grid iron.

3: Switch tab to all and filter to owned.

4: You run your game in one of the window modes.

Also Champion Mechs. They DO appear when you go to the Select a Mech screen, just not in the "Inventory" screen. Mechs are clustered a little funny in the Select mech screen, you'll have all your hero/champion/phoenix mechs listed first in ascending order first by weight category, then alphabetically, then all standard variants by weight/alphabetically. So that Phoenix Battlemaster will be WAY up at the top of the list, but all your other variants will be down at the bottom.

5) If you're talking about your in-game badge, you need to go to your options screen in your client, then there's a tick-box to select if you want to display either your founders or phoenix badge in-game. I personally had to do this a couple of times because it didn't save the first time for some reason.

This explains it, Founders + Phoenix + Trial Champions + Grid Iron Limited Edition are the missing mechs in the inventory.
