- No 45 tonner next month
- Mention of a break from the usual release pattern
- Mention of a light and a heavy (Flea? and CTF-3L??)
- The technology is already being integrated for the Clan package

Don't forget the Firemoth (Dasher) I predict given the wait-till-the-last-minute nature of development the Flea will be released at the same time (or around there) as either of these two Clan mechs. Or essentially, as a reinforcement pack come December, or as a full second wave come next year.

Don't hold your breath, you'll expire long before you see a flea, also likely there will not be masc prior to clans release.

Either way the Mauler was confirmed so we will probably see it in april or may.
The Heavy is the real question, but it will most likely be a 70 or 75 tonner. I'm guessing a Black Knight or Hammerhands.

P.S. Didn't realise that so few clan mechs had MASC - I just tend to assume they go for fast assaults...

I'm calling it right now.
The Hammerhands unfortunately is a Jihad mech for MWO when its mandatory third variant comes out in 3071.

Oh they are pretty fast on average, thanks to XL reactors for the most part. Here is the 3050 lineup from sarna.net
(80t) Gargoyle: 86.4 kph
(85t) Warhawk: 64.8 kph
(95t) Executioner: 64.8 kph (86.4 kph with MASC)
(100t) Dire Wolf: 54 kph
Below you see the current MWO Assault Mechs for comparison
(80t) Awesome: 54 kph
(80t) Victor: 64.8 kph
(85t) Battlemaster: 64.8 kph
(85t) Stalker: 54 kph
(95t) Banshee: 64.8 kph
(100t) Atlas: 54 kph
To put it in perspective, an IS Mech that is on par with a Clan Mech in terms of speed, is usually at a disadvantage in terms of firepower and/or durability. The introduction of Light Fusion Engines changes things for the better.

No 45 tonner? I'm pretty sure we ARE getting a 45 tonner.

Sources of these sources? The only news I've heard about future mechs are that a 45 ton mech is coming from someone (Rus?) on Twitter and that Mauler concepts were being sketched as of a couple weeks ago from Brian on NGNG.

PGI recognized Alex iglesias *was working* on a Mauler design but so far we know still on drawing board and not a physical mech (in Theory PGI have like 8-12 mechs already desgined in advance just to work in future releases like when they pulled the Phoenix pack 6 mechs total )
About the King Crab Bryan said it's on a list and it's been suggested internally...
Anyway next mechs is either a med or a Heavy.. but russ said no med on next release so...
Fixed the King Crab data.
