Perhaps people like the look of the Flea better?

Seriously though, aside from people cheesed off that it was teased but never released or like me want to see every TT 'Mech in game, unsure why people are wanting the Flea. Repeated MASC use is just going to make it's legs even more fragile which is pretty much a death sentence for lights.

Well...

The FLE-15 has five energy hardpoints and two ballistic hardpoints.

The FLE-14 has jumpjets (although we may not see it as it was a 15 ton mech).

The FLE-19 has four machine guns, an energy hardpoint and a missile hardpoint.

So, there is a better variety of weapons.

uh the flea will go like 200 with masc.

the locust just isnt competitive at 170

Not necessarily - they could give the Flea a very low engine cap (the default flea uses a STD120 engine - and they don't *have* to allow a much larger engine).
