Paul Inouye's design philosophy seems to be that this game is no more than counterstrike with robots. I have come to the conclusion that he is the root of our problems and this is because he simply doesn't care enough about the game. He's lazy. The lead designer for MWO should be a battletech fan, not someone who simply doesn't understand or care about battletech. If you don't live and breath this stuff, why are you even developing games?

Yeah, seriously. CS had way more features at release than MWO does! That comparison is frankly insulting.

and yet that is what paul thinks MWO is, or at least what he wants it to be.
No use of storyline, no leveraging factions, no team play, just red versus blue half randomly matched robot jox.

I've watched my kid play CS... I'd have to be wired on Rockstar, Skittles and 4 Espressos in order to achieve the amount of "twitch reflex" to play that flipping game....
