

Game Just Became Wayyy Unbalanced.

Here's the rant: What is with you guys?
You used to have LRM speed up, and you turned it down because the LRM cheese turned the game into a min max. Min being piranha packs to rush the LRM boats, and Max being the LRM boats.
You wait about 6 months, and seem to have forgotten why you reduced LRM speed in the first place, so you increase it again. And lo and behold, what happens? The game is back to min max, and whoever has the better extreme on their team will win the match.
I thought you guys had test servers. Why don't you use them?

Just an FYI, they adjusted LRMs because of a grouping issue, not because of damage. Is it also so surprising that PGI makes a change to a weapon system so for the first few days you ahve a lot of players returning to that weapon system to test it out? Surely that can't be an impossible concept to understand. Which means we'll see a TON of LRMs for a bit while players test them out and try out new builds using them

Um, why would you assume that? I played today and it was horrific. If you want to win or live you have to play with lrms or snipe, or play in a pack of lights. Mediums and brawlers are dead for the time being. Some of us don't enjoy lrm boatinfg or sniping. Is there no room in game for us? I am not happy with the lrm change at all.

Actually, I've got AMS on my mechs, and I do take cover. I'm not getting killed by the LRMs. My PUG is, and then I have to take on the rest of the team.

Considering I saw 20 of my LRMs get shot down by 3 AMS before they even came near their target... I'd have to say I feel AMS got bumped up too, and LRMs are feeling about right. The LRMs needed the faster speed. They feel better when I use them now, but don't feel like a one sided killer weapon either. (Still debating on AMS)

I wish we had access to server stats. I don't know what game you're playing, but Stalkers and LRM 60+ mechs are flooding the servers for a reason.

So you hug a rock, Then you poptart because that's the only effective way to get in and out of cover behind it. Then theres maps like Caustic Valley that have no cover that stop LRMs

The people who ridge humped and sniped are just going to ridge hump and LRM.
New meta time.
Brawlers still end up getting screwed. The only mechs you'll see are LRM spammers and poptart snipers, with a few lights thrown in the mix every once in a while. It's all a long range game now.
Oh well, time to fire up Titanfall.

Nope. Un-installing.... I already beta tested that game several months ago, and it sucked.

So far, I seem to be one of the few running LRMs on the teams I've been on...

I almost always use a few LRMs on most of my mechs. But I still haven't been seeing an "LRM Swarm" as of yet. Then again, I've only played 3 matches since the patch, 1 of which was so buggy, half the players got dropped from it...

If they remove the ability to indirect fire outside of someone using Tag and NARC, then I would be ok.
But the massive missile storms we are getting because people are bored of using the same five XXXXXXXXX ECM mechs is what is giving rise to LRM's again.
Some days I think "The Dev's Get IT!"
Today isn't one of those days.

Why can't I target fixate on someone and walk toward them across an empty field while zoomed in?!? It's not fair! The LURMS are killing me when I do that! I'm supposed to be the best meta ever!
PGI, fix it so I can dominate again, please!
