Interesting enough that I'll log in to play MWO for the first time in a long time, although the criteria for 'winning' is still a bit crap.

Would love to participate. Alas, I will be playing Diablo 3 for the next while. Haven't played it in 1.5 years and it is actually become quite the action packed game.

Good idea to at least remind people what this is supposed to be about. One gripe though;

It is not House Rasalhague, I can't be more against this titling of our fair nation.

We are a a republic, not a nation subjected under a noble house; it simply is Free Rasalhague Republic or under duress just Rasalhague (Depending with what kind of space constraints you must take into account)

Maybe it's called house Rasalhague because you will literally have only one house left standing from your great republic in some month

I looked at your profile and you're not showing as part of a faction. Make sure you join Lone Wolf before you opt in. I don't know if the stats reset messed some people up or not, but I noticed a lot of people are not associated with a faction now.

Guessing the bonus medallions that come with the clan packages are the clan ones. Just like you had to buy Phoenix mechs to get those medallions as well.

Because, you do better most of the time if you are on a team. It excludes all the people who just play solo. If everyone plays solo, it puts everyone on equal footing and it just comes down to pilot skill not 4 man VTR and HGN teams.

Having played this game from the start, I am happy that they are making strives for more game play, and not pumping out mech after mech after mech. Mechs are great and I am happy we have a selection, but I think it is time for PGI to start working on game play! This little weekend is a great strive towards something new!

A faction is a group, a division, a unit, and yet 2-4 mans are not allowed? Is this because you cannot differentiate between 2-4 and 12 man drops, or because playing as a team in a "community warfare" attempt would be unfair to those who can't be bothered to use 3rd party methods help them find a group.... Where is my "Looking for lance" button which should have been a core design pillar being discussed back in closed beta?

I can't consider this to be a "preparation" for community warfare, or anything related to what was described as their original goal. Nothing changes after the weekend, nothing is affected for the rest of the players in any faction. I will not be playing fri-sun and waiting for ACEN to roll around so I can play some real battletech.

Opted-in for the cockpit item....which probably gets lost in one of my mechs, thanks to UI 2.0 great usability...

I would really like to see the current percentages of the players and their allegiance in the end
