From my experience most kids know and use a hell of a lot more profanity in primary school than I've seen in this game. But if you wanna grass people up because of your stuck up self righteous opinions on manners. I can't stop you.

I see, we must tolerate crude, rude and bad behavior because well... not having morals has superior rights and standing online to having morals?

I dunno. Seems like the math is off on that equation.

Thanks for the moron running in my firing line today and screaming murder and more as 'killed by a noob'.

With your streakcrow.

Again, next one of these challenge, 2 Disqualifying matches for Teamkills, 1 for being teamkilled, because dollars to donuts you weren't watching your surroundings either.

We got isolated. Took a zoomed in shot, then i went for it and he started running. Alpha'd hard in his back. Not my faut. Dont care either.

I don't do stupid tournaments either. The Victor event was horrible.

Yeah, that happens too. But that sounds more like an edge case than the norm for the little leg humpers that want to killsnake and get mad because torrents of energy and missiles pour down upon the both of them.

And that is why the victim of the teamkill, like the defender in a hockey fight gets to spend time in the penalty box too.

It's bad. I've gone from avg 3-4 kills/game to 0 because teammates are so unpredictable, and you're right, teamkills are through the roof. One good thing about it is the aggressiveness that the challenge brought with it. Not sitting there, twiddling your thumbs as you wait for the team to do something, is a breath of fresh air.

I was going to go the route of integrity and the TOS, but this works, too. But yeah, yesterday was horrible. It wasn't just the language, it was the abuse toward other players that I've never seen before in MWO.

It's why I'm cringing about VOIP. I like the fact that the Seraphim TS is free of all that garbage.

VIOP is a very scary thought. I see unit rosters growing in the near future.

I see a few major spikes in population coming up. VOIP is going to be one, the biggest is going to be Steam. (supposedly before June from what I understood barring any issues.)

Not sure what to think of VOIP. Instead of laser vomit we get some yelling vomit from 'mature older men'.

and ingame voip....yeah...thats gonna be fun having to hear all the nerdrage from the tons of jerks that play this game. i will probably turn that crap off from day one and continue to use our ts, so we have full control over what goes on in there.

Here's a new one: teammates blocking shots so their friend can get the kill.

A new low.

At least they are using team work? The really stupid thing about all of this challenge frenzy is a regular match in which you play normally usually results in at least 1 kill and 1 assist if your team wins...why go all crazy about it.

Kinda why I left in a way...I struggle to control myself to be honest. I don't swear or anything that bad,but I call a spade a spade. If teams will camp and passively do nothing, sadly I'm going to rip them a new one. Play like a coward and watch team mates die? I'm going to flay you for it! I abhore the selfishness in the playerbase to be honest and I do tend to flay people verbally for it:(
Character flaw I guess, I also intentionally avoid venting if any of your guys are in team or on opposing team though-I may not run with you anymore but I try to respect your wishes.

Hopefully thats a good thing. I have never seen an in game voip been used well in all my game playing erm "career" to be honest, and I've been online since EQ1. It's ALWAYS and I do mean ALWAYS been a bad thing.
It'll impact units the most though sadly. In game voip will clash with things like TS, random people talking over your convo and I pray they make it push to talk by default....

It seems to be wanted by players that don't want to join a unit or conform but want the benefits of being in a group but don't want to put any effort in themselves the most....
Shame really because I found your unit to be full of very nice people, shame the soloists are missing out on it really...crazy huh?

I used to be the same way, to be honest. I grew up playing PvE and always hated PvP. I still do, to a point. I have this make-believe bar that I have to reach and if I don't reach it, I don't want others seeing it. Yes, it's pretty dumb.

The Seraphim is different. We don't care about your age or how well you play. We just want to play a good game with nice people without all the bad stuff that the internet is known for.

VOIP is going to bring the bad stuff to everyone's front door and there isn't much we can do about it. If you turn it off, you're not a 'team player' in the pug queue. If you leave it on, the language and attitude will likely rot your brain. lol

I got 67 damage my last game. Yes. 67. This is what happens when your team spreads all over and leaves you to handle a surprise murderball alone. Ah, the power of free stuff...

Uhhh, it's a game. I'd have the same problem if I went to watch my niece or nephew play in a sporting event and one of the kids, let alone a parent letting forth tirades of profanity too.

So don't pretend that because I am playing a game blowing up big stompy robots, I am desiring to murder people or somehow there is a philosophical transfer and equivalency between the two.

Well, I know its time to quit for the game when I start wanting badly to swear at my team-mates for doing what pugs do -- lick windows and suck gear-shifts.

Maybe PGI can get rid of the kills AND assists and make it kills OR assists... In the pug-verse it just spawns stupidity

i guess voip is not for me as an x soldier and x truck driver and a couple of other x's my language is a bit non pc to say the least, but on coms you should be keeping to what is happening not useless chatter unlike in game chat which has a few games were i wonder about the player doing the typing.. reflecting on the chat roll maybe voip is not a good idea

getting tire of how invincible assaults with pings over 100 are

I had a drop where i was well behind a building, and a direwolf put 2 gauss into me

Apparently HSR wanted to be nice to the assault with a street-address for a ping.
