I am getting really close to just giving in and trying it out. Actually, I have enough mediums now to make a complete drop deck they just aren't all mastered. . .and modules. . . I am pretending they don't exist right now (ignorance is bliss).

Currently, I have ready to go (minus modules) Locusts, Spiders, & Commandos. I have Cicadas through basics working on Elites, and 2 Centurions through basics, waiting on cicadas to finish up to run through 3rd cent, then elite for those. I have a lot of grinding ahead of me. (Not to mention 2 Shadowhawks I haven't even looked at yet.)

I leveled out my novas and got my t-bolts almost elited in CW. Also took my cn9-al from basic to master in CW. So don't over think it. Some good xp out there to be had in CW. Don't let the try hards push you around and let you believe you must have mastered mechs with mods and meta builds to play. CW as pug is brutal but run what you got even if it is trial mechs, which BTW are not as bad as some would have you believe.

My whine for today, which faction? Right now the FRR has some good rewards or do I clan for a bit and work on the basics on the hellbringers? Ah the good old days of just dropping pug against 12 man teams...

*Edited because work sucks sometimes, but "Real Life" is too much of a drag to unload here.

I need to get into a mech and shoot at some stuff. Might be a good night for some Locusting.

And then...

*Edited again to add: When your team is up 6-2, that is NOT necessarily the time to hide under the HPG and "make them come to us". I wasn't exactly bringing my "A" game today as it was, but there was no way I was going to be able to carry the rest of the match in my Yen-Lo-Wang that I haven't piloted in 8 months... <_<

Maybe I SHOULD have gone with my Locusts... ;)

Hope that wasn't me. . . oh, I have 2 ml on my 3m as well. . . but sometimes I watch myself piloting it and think. . . "what on earth is he doing."

No, it's wasn't you.
I posted here in whine thread, because he actively searched enemy mechs for engaging at 100 m range :)

If you ever find the time to shadowhawk, they can be fun, the 'trial champion" one was a total killing machine when i used it.

Click the spoiler to see what makes me a sad sad mechwarrior.

Spoiler

A little explanation... this didn't happen near the end of the match but at the beginning less than 3 minutes in. Oh and I gave the shutdown guy the benefit of the doubt until I died and was spectating and he powered up right before he died. This was after the red team had shot off a torso and leg and was standing directly in front of the guy so no tactical play here.

Both reported and hopefully they get the banhammer as behavior like that is just unnecessary.

So I am a little slow and read this as you would start a "three times mech fund". . .which was a little confusing, but you know you quoted me so I figured you were being nice. Then, I was laying in bed last night and I was like "Doh, you idiot, 3x is your screen name!"

Thanks for the love

Hey man, Locust pilots stick together!

If I were able to I'd hook us all up with the stuff we needed to enjoy this game to the fullest.

Computer for Himself, speakers and internet for Bulletsponge0, 14 month desk calendar featuring nothing but Locusts for IraqiWalker...

I'd hook us ALL up with stuff. ;)

I think I found my next project. The real problem is going to be finding enough Locust models.

VOIP will probably combine the worst elements of group play with the worst elements of solo, which will be unbearable. Solo play is chaos, chaos is where i reign.

Unmoderated teamspeak is potentially a nightmare. If there is no mute function either on individuals or as a whole, I can bet units like mine will have to have it shut down or not play till mute is available.

This game is so darn broken. Although i suspect my 64 bit machine doesn't like the 64 bit client probably don't have enough ram (4gb), will upgrade shortly. Although it doesnt seem to bother my laptop with the same memory?

Anyway getting constant issues when the match loads and it was so bad in a CW match last night my whole computer froze up (presumably because of resource hogging). By the time i restarted the game and got back in my unit were on the cusp of victory and i'd been pretty much useless.

Back to 32bit client on a 64bit machine i go, until i can get some more RAM.

You can mute individual clients already. Just right click their name, and you mute that player for yourself.

I know you can in TS proper. I just am wanting to make sure the integrated TS client for battles will be having the same functionality.
