That special feeling you get, when you are in your KTO-18(C) on Caustic, in what ends up being a 12-3 stomp in your teams favor, and your own teammates are complaining about LRM spam, one of them even using the term "LRM *****" (though I'm not 100% certain it was directed at me ).

Then the victory page comes up and you notice that not only did you get the top match score by far for your team in the win, but you did more than twice the amount of damage in a freaking Kintaro, than the "LRM *****" guy did with a Daishi...

Is there some other way that these Pint-Sized-Pattons suggest I should be building out a 55 ton mech that has Missile/LRM 5 quirks? I'm all ears.

I mean, I'm sure our team would have been much more successful in that battle had I been loaded down with SSRM2s and PPCs, and we could possibly even have beaten them by as much as 16-0? Right?

Wanted to ask what happened to Alpine peaks? For the last 500 games Ive got it only 4-5 times!

Anyway, just got it, had a game of my life with 6-7 kills and network error occurred... I see in my stats
I got around 500.000 C-bills and never will have print screen of that game stats...

So I was dropping in CW today in 4 trial mechs and. . . oh wait, I have a weird compulsion to not be a drain on my team so I won't use trial mechs in CW. . . which means, until I can get more mechs mastered I can't make minimum weight for CW . . . which means 1 month in and still no CW for me

If only that were MORE true...then maybe the Stalker LRM-boat pilot, who got all angry and whined about our "fail team" (that he coincidentally, somehow, seemed to not even match, much less surpass, a single one of, in a single scoring metric, at the end of the match ) just MIGHT have actually been able to contribute enough to turn the tide, in a 12-9 loss I experienced this morning.

Plus, come on...12-9! That was a great game, that until the final minute could have gone either way. Is this REALLY the kind of match we're going to rage and quit over now?

Played with a guy yesterday who did not understand that what he saw was not what everyone else was seeing.

When I tried to explain it to him - he replied that he was just watching "a video of what was happening on their screens! exactly what they are seeing!"

Good news is that as he was talking to me about it - he stopped yelling at our teammates for doing so poorly
They were not - they were hitting the enemy and we won - but he was not seeing that - to him they were shooting empty air.

I don't pilot assaults so I may be wrong but a Direwolf and a king crab walking side by side up onto a bridge leading to the center on terra Therma and just stopping there with the whole team stuck behind them seems like a poor game plan. The whole team is there together which is half a miracle itself and the assaults block the push. Next round in tt I recommended we all sit on a bridge and let the enemy kill us one by one. In true pug fashion no one listened and we won the round...reverse psychology works...maybe...
