I know I have about 6 really good friends who are super sad about it right now, but I live in Aaron Rodgers hometown area, so most everyone around me is pretty excited.

Anddddd so far the Lance rewards. Worked for a few months in the Solo que. But then everyone runs off again!

I made the grim realisation tonight, that basically unless you run a 12 man-you can't expect teamwork with any realistic consistency.
We tried practicing differing types of combat tonight as around and 8 man. Out of about 6-9 drops, only TWICE did the other group(s) decide to work with us.
One group totally blanked us and refused to talk at all-after investigation turned out a non english speaking unit...another group decided that our brawler group didn't need any support-they were going to building hug and "snipe" from safety-NO MATTER WHAT, again their chat contribution was exactly ZERO, yet another group just blanked us and wandered off alone...
Every game we tried to talk to the other team(s) trying to get some co-operation going. Mostly it failed as the other group(s) simply refuse to listen or talk.

It's like playing in the solo queue at times....why go in group queue if you won't work with other groups?
What gets me is so many seem to have an issue with groups being "elitist" yet is there any wonder when people behave like that?

Today, I was killed by lrms. . . in a cicada. . . with ECM. . . lrms are op please nerf. Oh I died to spl too, on a firestarter. Small pulse lasers and firestarters are op, please nerf. In fact, almost always when I die, I am killed by the enemy team. Please nerf the enemy team.


(ie. Today, I was an idiot and got caught so wide out in the open I couldn't get away from the LRM's even going 120kph in a Cicada. . .)

1) hunchback with 1 (ONE) gauss....and no more.
2) 3 lrm5 commando (65 kph)
3) cda 3M, with 2er-LL.... piloted as brawling mech....

Wow... did a whole bunch of armor, wall, speed and aimbot hacks just enter the community in time for CW?!? I cannot figure out how I'm dying so easy when I serpentine and use lots of buildings between me and my opponents... unless the buildings are shooting too now.

Edit. I just had a freakout match in my VND-1R with dual PPC. I haven't even Elited the thing yet, but wow... it just went awesome. I shook for a few minutes after it was done. BTW, we were down 4-8 at the 6 minute mark.

I am getting really close to just giving in and trying it out. Actually, I have enough mediums now to make a complete drop deck they just aren't all mastered. . .and modules. . . I am pretending they don't exist right now (ignorance is bliss).

Currently, I have ready to go (minus modules) Locusts, Spiders, & Commandos. I have Cicadas through basics working on Elites, and 2 Centurions through basics, waiting on cicadas to finish up to run through 3rd cent, then elite for those. I have a lot of grinding ahead of me. (Not to mention 2 Shadowhawks I haven't even looked at yet.)
