played a few CW matches tonight and I've come to the conclusion that things in this game are NOT balanced, at all

its ridiculous that a tbolt with one alpha can core out a hellbringer, but that hellbringer with one alpha can only turn the tbolt armor yellow..add to that the ROF, cooldown, heat gen quirks to IS mechs along with armor and structure buffs and nope..not balanced at all

me to i am a sucker for the lost mechs and come to the rescue only to jack rolled with them. i would not mind so much but for the love of kittens spam the R key a bit. i love going to the aid of a couple of mechs thinking there is just 3 or 4 red there, run over the hill/turn the corner and there is every last red shooting me while the other blues take the chance to run and hide...

Ugh. Give me a mech that can obliterate on its own, I'll be at your feet praising you to the end times. Tired of grinding mostly because my teammates suck hard and my own aim is terrible (partly hitreg, but still!). ******* hell, always destroyed without support. Dammit, I don't want to rely on my unreliable teammates all the time to succeed - I want to be the man to start the snowball!

People don't understand that when people get stomped for long enough, they eventually cave in and give up...

you guys should form a unit on your own, or join spongie in his unit and go mad on the pugs =) i would invite you to the one i am in but its german....

I appreciate the kind offer but my german is sadly very poor indeed. I also possess poor danish and french skills:P
I wish they were more forceful over here in britain about language learning, nearly everyone else in the world speaks english to some degree so it sadly isn't a high priority to schools here...which is odd considering the amount of different peoples we have here!
I live near a very small town and the languages used JUST in this town alone are:
Swahili
Dutch
Polish
Latvian
Lithuanian
Czech
Romanian
Russian
Urdu
Punjabi
Portuguese
..and that's just the few I can think of! You'd think we brits should be better at languages really...I only started learning danish as a courtesy when I used to travel there a lot out of respect for the danes.

sounds like american schools, where being forced to take a foreign language is seen more as a punishment of some kind than an opportunity..

alas, my skills in languages other than english are limited to ordering beer in Spanish and cursing in russian (and a little German cusssing too..I think...)

Meh. When I was in school, we were forced to take at least one foreign language. Of course, they only offered three, one of which was dead. I took French and Latin and other than a general expansion of my ability to determine the meaning of words through their root, I've never used either and have forgotten the vast majority of what I learned. I should have taken Spanish. That, I could have used many times over.

yeah..I took some latin and some spanish...but 25 years of not using either = no skills at them.... except ordering beer...lol

I'd love to learn Japanese, but the time and the motivation just aren't there right now

My cousin moved to Germany, and is actually a citizen now I think, or at least working on becoming one (he prefers it very much over the U.S.).

As for me, every native German I've met and consistently hung out with to date, has been without exception, pretty awesome (granted, we're talking about only 6 people, so it's a small sample size, but still ).

As for the language, this song has what, as a native English speaker, is absolutely my favorite German language sentence I'm aware of, because to the English ear, it sounds hilariously like someone just repeating the same sound over and over, and yet it has such a sad meaning.

Bonus points to Germany for this.

I can't seem to kill anything at the moment and i seem to be making noob mistakes last night i was solo'ing it in the tunnel on forrest colony repeatedly hit a cicada and an adder with my hunchback 4g he just laughed and his team mates turned up . lasted longer than i thought i would but still.

I then Derped in my arrow taking on a warhawk which wasn't paying attention to me (which then left my area) and its stormcrow mate. The stormcrow got several seconds of concentrated fire on his CTR in a face off he just stood there and i seemingly did negligible damage even with at least two 27 point alphas plus machineguns hitting his centre torso constantly.....Whaaaa?

My weapons were made of cheese last night so i quit. Stupid Hit reg.

We all have our bad nights. That was me last night. Tonight, I'm doing rather well actually.
