IN CW!!!!

Who DOES that!?

Seems fair chance that the player only had atlases, wanted to lurm it up, and took trial spider, trial raven, and trial thunderbolt to fill out the drop deck. IS CW solo pugs has a lot of that at some hours~

(and inevitably pitted against a large clan unit full of jags & exes, who gloat their victory about being badasses, even tho they only had to press W and have mediocre aim.)

Just realized the next hero event includes the Anansi, Pirates Bane, and Sparky. All my favorite heros! How on earth am I suppose to choose which of those to concentrate on for the weeknd?

-Although the order I subconsciously wrote them down might tell me something about myself ;)

If I get the chance to play, I'll be rocking the Pirate's Bane. that thing just rocks...yet I don't know why....I even run small lasers+mgs....the only thing it has killed has been Atlases...literally lol!

Yeah, I know I am going to end up running the PB all weekend. Locusts are addicting so once you start dropping in one it is hard to stop ;) The only upside is that Anansi will still probably see plenty of time when I have to drop in a different mech after those "Oops that was a dual gauss kingcrab moments."

so is it just me or are the pugs just real timid lately?

also why does the executioner rear CT seem to attract so much friendly fire?

Oh that's right go back to my first question. with me being aggressive puts my rear armor in front of said timid pugs.

so how long after playing a Grid Iron with a gauss does it take for me to hit things with an erppc? seems i forgot how to lead.

one more thing. while gaussing i notice an interesting thing. aim CT at 1000m see hit but no red cross, aim ST see hit and get a red cross. just me?

Just had it now in a match on alpine peaks we managed to take the mountain and the ridge adjacant to the base. The enemy starts to congregate at the bottom of it so perfect for a pincer movement. My left lance is holding fort then i see a warhawk going for it as our right lance is attacking.

Perfect pincer movement i thought so charged into the fray with my hunchie 4p start brawling away amd killing a legged grasshopper and heavily damaging a jager only to realise im getting more than my fair share of incoming. Look down to find yep the warhawk and his executioner mate had chickened out. So my hunchback ended fighting four enemies. I surprised them with my toughness but it didnt take long before my head laser was all thats left.

So i die only then do they show up!

they were waiting for you to do the heavy lifting so they can clean up without having to take too much of that scary incoming fire that might scratch their pretty mechs

Yep always a bit timid, but as of late it seems worse then normal. I mean both teams camping and poking from 800m for 15 min. Well except for me getting cored out in the back in the first 2 min while I atempt to engage the reds at reasonable range for an ac20

One genius on my team shot at a teammate but didn't kill him, then he shot me three times. I just stood there while he stod right in front of me shooting at me. The third time I lost patience and killed him (a Commando, took one alpha).

He then spent the rest of the match saying I shot first and how I lied about what happened. The whole team saw it but he persisted. Obviously he knew it too but he kept going on, trying to get a raise out of us I suppose.

Shouldn't there be some certificate in order to have kids?

i accidentally shot a teammate in the back when i tried to shoot their jagger, he crossed my path right when i alphaed... then i fell into a battle frenzy, made that jagger flee for his petty life.... flee into a swarm of his buddies, i almost almost finished it -_- well it was killed later, one of the few enemy mechs destroyed that round

I cannot for the life of me pilot Assault Mechs. I am the most noobish scrub when it comes to Assault Mechs....SO WHY MUST I LOVE THEM SO MUCH?!?! So big, so powerful, so much dakka! My current abusive relationship is with a Highlander-32B. Sure it's romancing me with high damage output and lovely candle-lit dinners but then it sees me talking to my old medium chassis and suddenly I'm walking into boulders in front of a whole team of LRM boats. I'm sorry baby I'll change! T_T

I am like this with heavies. During the summer heatwave event, I would look at my match scores and I could pick out the light mech rounds and the heavy mech rounds based solely on match score.

Lights: 42, 63, 58, 40 Heavies: 2, 11, 8, 21

But, I have a Jager and a Cataphract and they must be leveled at all costs!!!!!

Who DOES that!?

If they're travelling @ 4.9 KPH with the throttle meter close to 1/3rd of the way up.

Was their maximum speed 15-20 KPH?

I've used builds like that in pugland, maybe 8+ months ago.

I'm guessing its not as effective now that ECM is commonplace?

1/3 is the neutral mark. (below is reverse, etc.)

I used a very similar build in yonder year (even with the silly machine guns), back when there wasn't any sort of weight balancing at all and randomness made sure none of it really mattered so much (for better or worse)~

And nowadays, the hunchback provides better combat effectiveness at half the tonnage....
