Honestly, I have only looked at the Jenner & Hunchback, the first is extremely good, the second is meh.
Given my record with Mechs, I may do the same I did with Reinforcements II, just buy the Medium level and done.
Orion looks larger than the IS one so a big fat target, Highlander has a honking huge arm and depends on the Jump Jet change for Assaults coming in July.

Totally agree! Im a bit above average at best, I had 2 days off work, wife and daughter away and the weather was garbage so i thought i would have a go at an event for once. I cant 1 V 1 a light to save myself, but if a muppet like me can make it onto the leaderboard (and ill probably fall off the bottom tomorrow) its mainly because i have the time.

Other than that, i forgot just how fun that anansi is to pilot =D

Looks like it might be worse.



On the other hand, one of the variants can mount Double Gauss in one ST.

I loved the orion, i really did, love everything about it, the way it handled,hardpoints etc....could never keep the thing alive...sold them all in frustration

I'm working on getting a third, got my eye on the VA. I play them like an atlas, with SRM4 and 6s in the ST. I honestly think the field is very favorable to Orions now, because many people don't see them often, so they're not sure how to deal with them.

The LRM builds on the V, and VA are still stupid good, but I really enjoy smacking someone with an AC 20 right in their stupid face.

Also, try running them with an XL 350, and any weapon that isn't AC 20, or Gauss. They get very agile.

Always did well with them as an LRM boat.... but... i hate recieving LRMS and generally dont use them myself. Still have the Protector though, AC20 and 2 L Pulse, works ok.

The L side torso got me killed pretty much every time.

Is the VA the 4 energy point version?

Hey, maybe the change to hitreg might make it useful again. Ive whinged for 2 years that torso twisting did bugger all in spreading damage for me, and PGI answered the quetion this week.

The K is the 4 energy one (My favorite of the bunch). The VA is the 4 missile one

Whine- I hadn't played for 1 week...I have gotten freakin' terrible.

CW battle with 5 or 6 new players. with nothing but trial mechs. not scratching 500 damage.

with the biggest mouths telling me how to teamplay. that i never pushed.

sometimes i think that humanity is a huge cancer with only some bright spots not affected by disease.

80% loss rate at the moment, vast majority of those were 5-12 and worse rolls 50% of the win games were by a close game so thats evidence that matchbreaker is currently working at 10% sucess rate, 20% at best.

Dear pgi why am i not surprised and note to self why i so addicted to this crap broken game.

I suppose thats where im seeing numerous players strugling to break 300-350 damage............in a heavy or assualt. Oh wait we have HSR gremlins. Maybe when trying to elite a chassis it fubars the elo?

I could swear this happens. Whenever I start on a new chassis I either get wrecked repeatedly whether I perform well or not. Or I get magical matches where I do squat but my team just trounces the enemy over and over. Cn9 AH I had like a 14 game winning streak when I first started. I am currently in the middle of a losing streak with my new Cataphract 0X (well I lost six in a row and took a break). But when I jump back into my normal mechs...right back to usual.

Semi-whine. I just had a 311 damage, 3 kill, 2 assist, round in my Anansi, had most kills, most damage, and highest match score. So we lost. Whine: Anansi's arn't suppose to carry, they are harassers. Anti-whine, I am killing stuff again! Maybe the drought is over?
