yeah when you're on the missions you have to get along and work as a team to finish them. generic leveling up pretty much screams solo though if you want to actually put any effort into it-it's way too easy to mow down stuff when in a group. for SWTOR at least

As Iraqi quite correctly stated...in ANY given WZ I will get way more good attitude and teamwork in a purely pug group than ANY pug group here. We also do not have endless anti social,anti teamwork/group/effort pro solo whiners making thread after thread on the forums either:)
I'd rather lose a thousand matches on SWTOR than ten on MWO-the thousand would be less painful, trust me.

MWO COULD have been great, but sadly due to the playerbase itself it's just another fps shooter. Everytime PGI tries to do something more than quick20minshootzorz fest people whine.
It's too hard
It takes too much time
It's too grindy
I have to talk to people
I don't want to talk to people
etc etc...

It's ludicrous mate and it has spread through the group Q and sadly has poisoned CW nicely too. MWO is doomed frankly, all that potential...spoiled. Also I'm about $2500 lighter of pocket too-learned my mistake though.
I'm really enjoying SWTOR at the moment and am getting back into GW2 as well, another title where peeps seem to have no issues with talking and playing with each other....

Why are mwo players so solo centric and anti social?

-Players that couldn't damage a paper bag in a challenger two tank. (At least i'm not the only one)
-Lurms ******* everywhere!.
-My Locust inexplicably just froze to the spot facing a zeuss easy kill.
-Repeatedly doing high damage yet struggling to get a single kill.
-PPC's do diddly squat can blast a stalker for ages in my quad PPC Awesome he turns and drops me with one alpha when i had plenty of armour (no not a headshot)
-And i'm certain the heatscale has bumped up a bit most noticeably on the locusts.

I'm off to buy mountain bikes on ebay instead and do Mech renders in blender. Much more fun.

Just wait for re-balance, that's what i am doing. I sometimes play to test out some buillds and what builds to keep when the rebelance kicks in it. (So without quirks but still viable builds)

Well, that is your perogative if you wish to quit the game, but you will find that on any internet game site you join and play, you will have players who go off and play their own way, so you are pretty well delusional to think that MWO is the only game where this type of thing happens.
And as for listing the games you are going to play and telling people to stay off them - you might not want to do that, as a lot of people will read what you just posted and join them just to spoil it for you for their own amusement, so in the future, it would be bst for you to simply quit a game and not post where you will be playing next.

The whole match was a stomp when i was testing a build. My mind blown when you take two kills in a desperate moment when you are the last man alive.

Took an Atlas plus a Raven out in desperate one salvo! (Damaged the Atlas already with one alpha before hand, remaining is a finisher while i got ganked on by their whole team)

i had an alpine conquest 20 minute ago, i killed 4, our dire killed 5 and remained alone vs 2 lights and a hellbringer, he killed two lights (7 kills overall), went to chase the hellbringer, he thought that it fled and was far away and he had no chance to catch it in time, so he switched to 3rd view mode... and immediately met the hellbringer, pretty damaged, one good shot from death, the dire wolf switched back but... a split second decided it, he didn't land a good shot and hellbringer managed to flee, less than 20 seconds after that we lost by cap

A twit on my team died and had to proclaim this loudly over VOIP. He had remained silent through the whole match.
I jumped, I messed up and died... fighting a close 3v3 fight.

Then we lost.

Dead guys... unless you got something useful to say, just keep quiet and watch the rest of us struggle, eh?
