Obviously if you're dead set on quitting, we can't stop you. The game will naturally create stomps though. Focus fire is what wins games, and it's much easier to focus down enemies when there are 12 of you and 9 of them. It snowballs from there.


Out of curiosity, what is your k/d project?

My project is to get every mech at 1.0 or more. 1.0 is acceptable. A few weeks ago I was done with all but three and some mechs had way above 1.0. Now the Victor-9K, the Shadowhawk 2H and the Raven 2X remain. The 2X I haven't played much since then but the 9K and 2H were very close, they both had hundreds of matches and only about 10 kills remained for each. Since PSR they have been backsliding the 2H is now at -12 and the 9K at -40. I don't know why, my performance is roughly the same and if I was placed in too high a tier to begin with I should have been bumped down after the hundreds of matches I've played since PSR was put in.

I don't mind stomps per se even if they are boring, what I mind is 8 stomps in a row no matter who do the stomping. I'm also frustrated by people who refuse to shoot UAVs when the LRMs are raining. I end up the one doing it and naturally some light shoot me in the back while I'm zoomed in trying to shoot the UAV, meanwhile my team mates standing 100 m. away don't react at all while I get killed.

I also mind getting cored in the back in two shots by invisible LoLcheetorz, and should I spot him before he can alpha a second time he turns out to be indestructible.

In fact LoLcheetorz remind my of spies a class in the old mmorpg SWG. The spy could be invisible, sneak up fire everything he had and half of the time down the opponent in the first salvo. If the opponent survived the spy had but to hit a button and become invisible again. Unless the spy got greedy and stupid he could roam the battlefield and engage and disengage at will.

Man **** ceasefire. Tired of it randomly popping up and telling me I can't play CW. CW is pretty much the only thing keeping my interested in the game right now. Ceasefires are quite literally the dumbest game mechanic ever.

do what I do. Solo Pug or sync drop in the solo queue. Your elo is based on your own skill, and you can never know if your fellow sync droppers end up on your side, or gonna make you cry "uncle"!

I should also point out some of my favorite matches is when a couple end up on one side, a couple on the other, and we stay in the same teamspeak channel and mess with one another.

Just had a game on HPG Manifold. Playing a firestarter with the seismic detector i rush under the dome and start lighting nearly the whole team. My team responds to it by a quick rush on one side. The game last 3:20 minutes, the time to find the last one. 12-2. We lost.

I was playing and it suddenly struck me. I'm not deriving any enjoyment from the game anymore. I'm here for a while longer at least. It's incredibly frustrating though and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I've done 4 kill 600 damage games and 0 kills 98 damage ones. It happened before but it's like it fluctuates much more. Before I did most of the time 1-2 kills and 3-400 damage with a few outliers both ways. Now it's all over the place.

I think it coincides with the PSR, the new maps and the LoLCheetorz and my choice of mechs(a few weeks ago I went 2H and 9K). That's the only explanation I can come up with.

I've seen my numbers drop a lot too- of course I've been grinding commandos so that may have something to do with it haven't really found one I like though.
