its all about getting better stats. forget everything else. stats prove it all isnt it?

i dont even expect that. most players simply play too selfish to understand what i am telling them. and why they will always be bad in this game.
i can still try.
if no one tells them why they are bad as they are they cant improve since too many players arent able to learn themselves anymore.

yes the world is becoming more and more stupid.

I was reading an article about that in a psychology journal last week. Apparently decrease in intelligence is starting to become measurable in NA/Europe. The article, however, was trying to blame it on the ease of looking up information now stating that by not having to keep knowledge in your brain you become less able to use your brain when needed. I was a little annoyed that the study didn't look a the push in education for outcome and skill (i.e. the skill to look things up on the net) based learning that the NA/Europe education systems have switched to (generally) as a possible source of the problem.

I guess the question would be: "Are the +30 year old players, in general, better at QP than the >25 year old players"

As far as I am concerned, I have hit the point where all my facilities are starting to degrade. Getting old sucks.

as father of a 7year old daughter i can tell ya, education is one of the main problems.
it starts in kindergarden where 3 years should know and learn math already. not with playing games as we done it. they LEARN it.

I cannot mock people for being stupid, be they in reality or merely in perception; for I have stuck around now for two years sincerely hoping that PGI will make the game and especially CW better. Maybe not the dumbest behavior in the world, but still...

I thought we were all getting dumber because of all the video games that we play


But honestly we started homeschooling our kids because the schools play to the middle. If you perform poorly they help you get better, but if you perform highly, you are one student that the teacher doesn't need to worry about. Which is probably understandable given the pressure to keep test scores up. My son was coming home crying in 1st grade because the work was less than he was doing in preschool and when we pointed it out we were told not to worry that all of the children leveled out by 2nd or 3rd grade so he wouldn't be so far ahead of his peers by then

That is depressing. When I was in school they at least had programs for kids that were exceptional. Of course I don't recall much before Jr High, so it may have been the same as you describe below that.

Yeah, his Kindergarten teacher tried really hard to get him into the exceptional program. First they told her they don't test kids that young. Then when she insisted they evaluated him, but he was so nervous with the evaluator that he wouldn't answer her questions. That's ok he is going into 6th grade now and builds things like Lego Mindstorm robots that solve Rubics cubes

I'm assuming that the meta consists of everybody walking as slowly/quickly to the center of the map as they can manage.

which leads to the fact that people cant use maps like forest colony and polar highlands very well and why such maps arent as popular.
