This is a thread for a daily whine? Great.

I began a Frozen City game on Wednesday, playing a SHD. As soon as I'm online, a DWF below me unloads a laser alpha-strike into me. I got 6 damaged locations and my back right torso at orange. I cursed the ****-faced ******* who takes the crown of friendly-fire moron for this month and it took me 2-3 minutes to calm down. After that, I got into the game but I was so angry that I didn't care what I was shooting at. I capped enemy base, killed two enemies doing it and one of my own team - sadly, not the *******. I didn't even apologize. Yes, shame on me.

I think i was in that match with my other account (Hier koente Ihre Werbung stehen).

Had to watch some "inerresting" playstyles.

Just had this little exchange in team chat near the end of a game...

Me: "player x, you know you're handicapping the team by not pressing R right?"

Player X: "What does that have to do with losing?"

ARE YOU SERIOUS????? (not said in chat, just my inner monologue's reaction)

HPG manifold. Followed my Atlas buddy into the charge and two light mechs and a medium went with us. Except, when I got into the enemy line, I found that my medium and Atlas buddy were both hanging back and the Atlas was using his LRM launcher(((s)))! It was just me and my light mech crew and we got murdered.

But that's not the worst thing that happened. Ended up spectating on a Shadow Cat with an LPL and some SSRM launchers who had spent the entire match on the wall sniping. Never got closer than 400 meters to the enemy. Fired SSRMs at 500 meters anyway. Sad face :c

I am about this close to just quitting this game altogether. There is nothing fun about standing behind a building and exchanging long range fire with an enemy 1200m away. I just had a round where my cicada with ml's and a cyclops with srms were the only short range builds. We tried to set up a flank, but nobody would move. The cyclops didn't make it, I had the speed to get back to the team. Hid behind a building, went AFK, got the baby a bottle, came back and everyone was exactly where I left them. So ran back over to the enemy team and died, I have way better ways to spend my time than to wait for connection, wait for match, wait for vote, wait for more connecting, walk to a spot and then wait for to see if either team will decide to engage the other.

Just finished a game - Frozen City Assault. Classic sniping/lrm spam as all are hiding. I was in a WLF-2 and was preventing the enemy from flanking with some success. At 3-3 the enemy makes a serious push and at 6-6 I die. I spectate an Orion - he was the only one going left after the drop when everybody else was marching either ahead or to the right - bang himself against the broken dropship at various locations and at full zoom. The battle is raging at our base and he's on the other side, banging his mech against the damn dropship! Finally, he makes a few steps back and sees the corridor at the break and goes for it. Score is still at 6-7. As he goes for the break, an assault goes in and buries itself at the dropship's hold - where the frozen 'mechs are. I marveled at his strategy - stand beside the frozen 'mechs, power down and pretend you're one of them. At the midpoint of the battle. The Orion manages to enter the battle zone and an enemy dares shoot at him! The Orion returns fire 3 seconds later with 2 pathetic lasers after his enemy has withdrawn, hid and made coffee. At that point I quit the match.

as a beserker brawler by nature the current peek and poke from the same 100m meter circle is getting on my nerves. i am going to load my atlas up with lrms and stand in corner and lob lrms at 2000m like the rest of my team.

NOT

After a few hours of defeats in QP and 2 defeats in Scouting, I say to myself "1 more Scouting and I log out." Again the damn Caustic Valley. The miracle happens and the lance defeats the enemy with 2 survivors! I think to myself "at last, I'll have a victorious Scouting mission." Perhaps there has been one or two more but the hundred defeats erase the memory of one or two victories. So, one guy goes to the extraction zone and the other one gathers intel. At some point the countdown has reached single-digits and I shift spectate to the guy to be extracted. I see the moron entering the zone 1 second too late...
I'd have a victorious scouting if that moron was playing the game instead of playing with himself.

Right after they all chased after the lone enemy locust that ran across the water to the island.

Take a fortnight break, come back and yet more of 95% loss rate and miserable games with a matchmaker that can't tell the difference between carrots and strawberries.
