Check the back of your mech for a "Jump in front of me" sign. Some pesky ACHs have been sticking those to mechs lately.

Do you like the guasshawk? I was thinking about throwing a guass on something to learn how to use it and it is either a shawk, a jäger, or a Cataphract. (Or you know an Urbie, cicada, or Raven). I am significantly better in mediums so the hawk seems like a good idea.

Highlander with an 330 engine is more nimble than a Shadow Hawk with 255-265,should say something about its eliting process.

It is okay but nothing special. I use the 2D so I can have 3ML as backup. It does the sniper role good enough but lacks a knockout punch so people will often get your kills.

dont get me wrong,i love the 2K,it is in my opinion one of the best brawler of 55-tonners,and works as a sniper too,but currently the other variants are just horrible.

I actually have shawks already, I was just curious if the guass build was decent. The k is pretty good with 3 erll. The rest are really well suited to mixed builds. Unfortunately, mixed builds are not well suited to MWO, so that leaves them a little lacking. The 2d2 is a decent lrmboat but my Elo is low enough for lrms to work fairly consistently.

My blasted OCD makes me feel guilty for running elited or mastered mechs when I own so many that still need to be elited and then of course the jagers, cataphracts and Ravens which I don't even own 3 variants of yet...Man I have some serious mental problems I do believe.

Yeah, usually I don't mind. Mech collecting/leveling is part of the fun for me. But my really poor play combined with a losing streak lately has it feelig more grindy than usual, I had 3 losses this morning (I try to get two or three drops in before work) which netted me a grand total of 100,000 cbills and maybe 600xp. Trying to pull together enough pugs to support a 12-man attack... couldn't find enough FRR people to help the attack. We had tons waiting in queue to defend but none waiting to attack...

I asked why no one wanted to go on the attack and a few said "attacking is too hard without a 12-man"... WTF??!?!

Then when you explain that you are more likely to face an organized 12-man if you are defending they go all "Duh".

Then I asked why they are waiting in a queue behind 2 defend ghost drops and -- nothing...

Sometimes ya just wanna shoot yourself in the cockpit with a flamer.

I often skim twitch.tv's mwo directory, looking for newbie players to watch. Issues tend toward overheating and the grind vs MC expense thing, but I think I just saw a new one (to me)....

New player goes through the movement tutorial, then hits Play Now. Apparently gets confused by the green team versus blue team dynamic, not realizing there's a red team... pewpewpew!! Friendly team gets crippled quick. Friendly rage ensues, never knowing it's a newbie. Exit Game.

Eh, I wonder how pgi's combat tutorial is coming along...?

It's not showing for a lot of people, for some reason.

It has a mechanism built into it, that hides it if your ping is over 500 ms, but it seems to be triggering for no friggin reason at all.

Todays whine....my PING to the Singapore server is 190, a good 140 less than NA. My problem is that i keep loag shooting like its NA, and i still cant hit a damn thing!

So bored of the lrm rain that everyone seems to be toting. All your hear is incoming missile every match. So you jump in a light a mech to check it out and yep sure enough its the biggest, most heavily armoured, most potential firepower mechs hiding at the back playing noob mode.

I lost my cool in one match and had to apologise for it but when you find yourself fitting an ams to a deaths knell along with bap just so you can help avoid the lrm rain coming from five different directions its pathetic.
