yours are a long lasting chair :3
mine broke a few months ago when it was only less than half year of service... because i swung on its back legs :3 but i had it fixed by a welder who soldered car pipes on a nearby road service station, it's more robust now than it used to be

I was dropping Urbies today. Mostly just my 60L, until I died horribly and early in a match so I left and grabbed my other Urbie and as the screen switches from searching to connecting I realize it is the r63. . . but my r63 has no engine in it. . .except I have 2 r63's and one of them is completely stock and has never been touched. . . until that round. So, I ran a completely stock r63 for 38 minutes until I got within site of the enemy and was promptly killed as I piled up an amazing 33 damage. It was glorious.

An afk direwolf actually woke up late, and went flying past me as I trudged along to battle. . .

Golly gee fellas, the artists in the MWO community sure do work hard to bring awesome fan art into our dull, deary lives. Too bad there isn't any way for them to be compensated for their time and passion. It makes me sad.

If only some handsome, smart, great with the ladies member of the community would start a FABULOUS CONTEST where the poor downtrodden fan artists could SUBMIT THEIR ART and win all the money their heart desires (if their heart desired exactly $35 bucks to buy an A la Carte Mech) *sigh* Gee whiz, too bad there's no one out there like that huh fellas?

It has been 13 hours since anybody whined on here...everyone's lives can't be that good!

Whine: in a match earlier I chose a Direwolf to escort with my Urbie. I soom realized that I had chosen poorly when said Direwolf began shooting mountains and obstacles because he could see the red box there highlighting he enemy some scout was spotting 1200m away. How do I always find these assault pilots to pair off with?

Todays whine.... the Oceanic Server is such an unstable piece of crap that Im still playing on the NA server with my 330 ping and getting better hitreg than i do at 190 on the Oceania one.

With the new PSR system:

• If a players' team wins, and the player did well during the match (achieving a high Match Score), the player will rise in skill rating.
  
• If a players' team wins, but the player did not perform well (achieving a low Match Score), the player will not move in terms of skill rating.
  
• If a players' team loses, but the player does exceptionally well (achieving a very high Match Score), the player will go up slightly in skill rating.
  
• If a players' team loses, but the player performed well (achieving a high Match Score), the player will not move in skill rating.
  
• If the players' team loses, and the player performed poorly (achieving a low Match Score), they will drop in skill rating.

I think that any of these ranking systems are still broken if your ranking is not dependent on chassis type. Otherwise we end up with system that punishes you for being good i 1 mech and not so good in another

twice now i have lost on conquest while having very good games in my 6 mg King Crab (don't judge this thing is a monster LOL) believe it or not some very aggressive PUGs out this morning,
But lost both games to base rush and the teams were so aggressive no one stopped the cap...

@Sarlic- I think you've just shown in that video the usual result when I try to leg a light.

@3xn- quit trying to steal my top secret "how to pick the right assault to escort" rule book. though I tend to find the LRM atlas that shoots from 998m away. we both need to be on the same team someday so we'd each have a 50% chance of picking the right assault to follow.

@ Fatyak- yeah I was real disappointed in hearing it's not split up by chassis like Elo was. hopefully they will change it. me in an assault is pretty scary to behold...for my team.

MGs for all! there are some very good mg mechs out there, but you have to be willing to get your paint scratched to use them.

i was shot by a banshee with 7 large pulses, he unloaded the whole 77 alpha on my ct.

it is a good thing i have 96 front armor, so when he was done i shot, reposition and my team killed him, lol.

trying to break the game by using such underhanded tactics will often backfire and i'm glad it did.

here are my thoughts for today;

1 - the new map is cool
2 - why does my laser mech only take a fraction of the skill than my ppc mech - this is a symptom of bad weapon balance
3 - i was legged for the first time in a long time!
4 - i am not sure if the new matchmaking system is on? is it?
5 - i just found out that according to lore; mech pilots have little recipients for their poop that attach to a garden foldout chair with a hole, and they use it behind their mech seat.

Just saw the new Forest colony map and while it is both huge and pretty, I'm scared it's gonna become like Alpine peaks, i.e. a huge map that people only fight in a small section of. I really REALLY hope I'm proved wrong.

And running a contest for artists is a lot more stressful than running a contest for writers lol

Yay, I am in the tier where people run 3 lrm15 and a tag on a Zeus. So tier 1 or 2 right? Also, I find myself highly suspicious of hitreg when I am in a round and poke and shoot with lasers and the reticule turns red after I am hiding behind the corner again.
