I could imagine that with your new account you started in a tier where you are more successful but are now of cause beginning to climb into higher tiers again where matches get harder until you reach the same ungrateful tier as with your old account? Hard to tell from outside of cause, but would explain why you have the impression that you suck while your current stats tell otherwise.

If you think you suck you are maybe running the wrong mechs? I see that you are using assaults almost exclusively. Maybe try something lighter like fast heavies? It could emerge that you are better with them.

In my opinion assaults are the hardest to play, followed by lights. You not only have to position yourself carefully, but are also often required to initiate a push at the right moment or to decide where the fighting has to happen if no dropcaller is present.

For example i suck in slow assaults like Direwolfes. I need at least 70kph to do well, so when i play assaults it's something like a Gargoyle or a Marauder IIC with an 375XL so i get not punished that hard for every small mistake i make.

You don't get better after 20k matches. The tiers are now only one adrift. 3 and 2. The difference between the two is Atlas D-DC and Death Strike. Can't make an Atlas do what the Death Strike can do no matter how much I'd like to do so.

Hey Bilbo take a look at my stats. while i have not played as many games as you, i do have a bit of time in this game and yes i am stuck in sub basement T5. now the last seasons i have jumped up a bit due to fixing one of my many problems. My toaster was a stuttering POS 32 FPS when i started and when i quit it was down to sub 15. new toaster is 60 fps plus. but i still suck at this game. but you know what it is ok because i enjoy playing. i miss seeing you on the old Terra Threma and typing out "don't shoot the hobbits" lol Just doesn't have the same ring to it on the "new" Terra Threma...

Drinks some good eggnog and pull out that trusty D DC and show these Meta Mech, Lazor Vomit, High DPS, Twitch Shooters just what an old Atlas pilot can do.

Sadly, after the engine desync, the Atlas is just a dumpster fire of bad. What fun the power creep hadn't managed to kill off, the engine desync outright obliterated, which is one of the reasons I'm no longer playing that account right now. I'll probably pull it out for at least one match on the 27th to get the free stuff though. Happy hunting.

Having gotten an Escort game, after 8 or so hours I realize that I am the enemy.
But I still have a x12 multiplier with no use.

What he tried to say was that you could summarize what you want to whine about each day into a single post.
Maybe even try to only pick the worst thing happened each day and not every single minor occurrence.

I just learned that even an absolute elite player who competes in championship-finales and who must know what teamplay means can act very strange in QP.

One random guy made the drop-caller and proposed on frozen-assault to push F6 and to not go D5. Our comp-player kept quiet and went directly to D5 in his assault and then called for help multiple times while demanding in chat that we should come over to him.

It's fine that he got a plan and it probably was a better one than the drop-caller's especially since our caller was unable to motivate our team enough to finally leave base. So i can understand his pressure to leave base.

BUT: As a teamplayer you do either follow the bad plan and hope that the rest of the team does too at some point OR you go on comms by yourself and suggest your own plan and to do the calling.

But you don't wander off alone and undermine the drop-callers plan even if he failed to push the team hard enough. And you don't use chat to do this, most players won't read it in time because it's not displayed prominent enough to rely on. Only comms guarantee that most players will hear what you want.

All i have seen from my perspective was an assault wandering off alone despite someone proposed a different plan and then yelled for help repeatedly. That's exactly what i usually see from assault-potatoes. Only later i've realized that the guy in question was a very successful comp player.

Okay, maybe his mic was not working and we did not hear his D5-proposal. But i don't think it's the best teamplay to then go off alone if no one reacts and forcing us to either ignore the original drop-caller by going with him or to leave him for dying.

In my eyes that's a quite hostile way to take over drop-leadership...

A bad plan executed with conviction is better than nothing. I'd have gone with the F6 plan and left Capitan ego to die. No pace for super solo behaviour here. I've noticed a lot of the time the so called "good" players tend to have this ego.

Sad thing is, there will STILL be cretins stating how superior clan mechs are..some bright spark said "they got more match score" ofc they will simpleton! They splurge out more raw damage......damage which spreads all over the place.....DERP.

Prefect example this morning, in my top dog with all nine slots full of standard medium lasers. Rushed a linebacker (laservom build) to save a team mate.. Proceeded to pp his ct with EVERY shot whilst twisting away his laservomit. He even shut down for me after 3 alphas. His "super op clan lazorz" spread all over the place wheras mine didn't....
