So the latest patches have nerfed poptarting, fine, it may have been a little OP. But the buff to lrms, has killed brawling, poptarting and returned the game to a parts of closed/open beta where any monkey with a mouse and keyboard could do tons of damage with lrms. Stop listening to pugs, they are ruining the game with their ridiculous demands to nerf anything which requires skill. I'll consider coming back to this game on a regular basis, when you recognize the whining of the masses will not create a balanced game or a competitive one.

You mean they finally made a weapon system not horrible? They managed to make it viable? Something other than Direct fire Front loaded weapons?
It's amazing. But the NARC buff itself might have been enough.

I <3 the NARC. Now if only they'd lower the tonnage of it...

played a couple matches this afternoon, and I can confidently say that there are WAY more problems then LRM's are this point making the game near unplayable. (LRM's didn't even seem all that popular in the 5 matches I played)
Terrible Heat Mechanic
Terrible Weapon Balance
Terrible Match Maker
Non Stop Nerfing (skirting around the real problems for over a year now.) Derp?
Stale Game Modes (90% of matches are Skrimish, even if there are bases.) Maybe Cap time is too high?! not like anyone thinks that..
I could probably go on, but then at that point it may be more personal opinion then blatantly obvious.
I find it very difficult to find motivation to play more then a couple matches. The thrilling/nail biting/ edge of your seat matches are VERY few and far in between.

If you search around you'll find it's more the competitive teams who have reiterated that LRMs are not used in high level play as they're not very effective.
Cheers.

Seems to have been more a stealth nerf to brains that wasn't in the patch notes.
