If they have have several, then the best team move will be to utilize cover for a rapid advance. Get within minimum range (180 meters), kill their brawlers, kill their boats.

I tend to make a brew, feet up and break out the biscuits.

Some matches after my death I realise I was the only one the whole match to use chat.
On and on.
The people who would gain the most from your advice will never see it. We all know this.
Lower your PUG expectations and do your best on the battlefield

I'd chat more in my lights if my analog throttle signal didn't get lost when I open chat, resulting in a screeching halt...
Appears to be an insurmountable issue.

I kinda think of them as our 13th mech.
Now the LRM 10 ravens and jenners are a different matter.

You don't just slap a NARC on some big fat hippo casually leaning against a wall, you slap it up on a sniper who thinks he's safe while he leisurely ambles towards his snipery hill. You hit the enemy's LRM boat trundling along in the back ranks. You hit the Fatlas brawler desperately trying to close the distance across open space. A little judgement with the beacons goes a long way--the PUG boats can't see your targets, so you do the thinking for them.
All it takes is an exercise in judgement. Where your PUGgers in starter Stalkers were dumping LRM salvos into random hills, they're now dismantling heavy units with pinpoint fire. Your capable boaters are actively waiting for that precious beacon and making the most of it. The enemy just melts away, washed away like winter's snowbanks under spring's rain of LRMs, giving them time and inclination to type up friendly messages about my mother and her various skills in pleasuring men.

(1) Winter is drunk this year. It needs to get washed away faster.
(2) Not only your mother, but also blaming noob pugs, lag and matchmaker. They likely aren't blaming you though, more likely their own team - questioning their heritage, sexual proclivity, intellectual prowess and likewise.

Being an effective spotter means having eyes on your target without it being able to spot you. TAG leads your enemy straight to you. NARC is now the better choice because you can "Hit and Run"; rush in from cover, NARC the ECM mech or target of choice and get out. Find a safe position and continue to spot.

I love when ravens brawl and once they get tagged with narc they scatter like roaches lol.

That's fine, you are still targeted. The enemy still knows exactly where you are when doing that. The enemy is still doing what it wants and holding you until the rest of their team moves in on you and rips you apart. It's called suppressive fire. Hide under that bridge and the next thing you see is a row of Atlai waiting to speak with you.
