Ive played a few matches with wins and a few kills and my score has not changed for about an hour or more.

You score is only equal to the combined scores of your 10 best matches. If you play a match and score lower than your 10th highest match score, it won't count and so your score won't change.

I opted in earlier this week but I don't have a score...what gives?

Same Issue. I opted in as soon as the tournament was announced, and double checked on thursday. So I am absolutely certain I opted in.

I can't see my score, nor any score for that matter... all the pilots leaderboards are empty

Edit: I did another match and now it worked. Hurm, rank 82 Davion. I need to do better if I want to be useful.
