Yes, I was thinking it to be just above the arm, also on the head I was thinking something like a the shadowhawk's head. As BS will rightfully the Mad is talked about in the books to have a very constricting view.

Further ideas to the last comment: Vent on left soulder could come from Cicada hip structure, with AC5 mount on opposite shoulder made from similar fairing. If you wanted to include the little vent structures that Shimmering sword has on his art and reseen pics have, you could use the side torso vents from a dragon.

There aren't enough 'mechs with lopsided builds with the arm cannon and the normal arm sort of set up I'd like to see it in MWO or something like it.
