Alpha through charlie lances are sorted based on skill similarity to the average of alpha lance. This is not always going from best to worst players. If the premade in alpha is average or terribad, the good players can be in bravo or charlie. This is why not all lances or lance members finish with similar scores. Observe.

Glad to hear you're having fun in the Firebrand! It's my favorite Jager...if my signature didn't illustrate that hehehe

If 4xERLL is working for you, awesome! You're right though, it DOES run a bit hot. If you like it, though, may I recommend also giving this a shot?
The advantage the Firebrand has that other Jagers don't is that it has a mix of Ballistic AND Energy in the arms. The other Jagers all have energy in the torso only. This allows you to have the lasers/ballistics on the same aiming spot and have them hit the same place more often.
With the AC5's it'll run a bit cooler, too, and when you're riding the heat line, the very cool AC5's will allow you to keep pounding away, whereas the ERLL's would overheat and shut you down.

deffo gonna try ac5s, thanks for the tip.
atm im on and off smurfy now trying to find a chassie that is good for 2x ER ppc.
2x guass works fine now that i crammed in 8tons of ammo in the DD, but for thouse big open maps where the battle goes into a sniper war, i run out.

Hehehe, actually, if you ever picked up the Jagermech DD, you could throw the XL 260 on the Firebrand and run 2ERPPC/2xAC5 pretty effectively (if not, you can pick up the 265....same weight, more horsepower). Bear in mind that ERPPC's run HOT...you'll ride that heat line a lot more...it's the tradeoff you take for no minimum range. I tend to use standard PPC's instead and control my engagement range (never closer than 90m).
Just 2PPC by itself CAN feel a little underpowered...though I've seen and run Blackjacks with 2xPPC and 2xML to good effect.
If you DO wanna jump on the 2PPC/2xAC5 bandwagon, consider going FULL META JACKET and picking up Victors. Add JJ to that mix and it's a relatively fun, effective playstyle. I keep that build on my Dragonslayer 100% of the time so I can track how effective that meta is/remains.

Dual ERPPC is currently too hot to be viable. You can do it, and your Firebrand is actually a good fit for 2xERPPC. You can also do some hilarious things with it. Unfortunately, the bigger the mech, the less sense it makes to trade firepower/toughness for enough cooling.
Example: For serious work, my favourite mech in the game, the Victor 9K, can take Gauss+2xERPPC. However, it requires sticking with 1 jump jet (not much lift, sad panda), and even then, the cooling situation is not good. It generally makes more sense to take plain PPCs and upgrade other stuff. Note the new ammo, cooling, and JJ situation.
