20 months ago all the promises on closed beta where different, not sure which way MWO is going any more.

This is why half the team shoot at the red triangle, through mountains, through buildings, through you..

Because they can't see the mech..so camo must work ;)

So now we get to "TEST" a de-buff of the missiles. Why didn't we get to test the Buff? Also, we have to wait two weeks for those tweaks to hit live servers?

You get to test the new stability, networking and HSR and such, which is pretty important.
The LRM change just happens to be scheduled for the same patch.

SRM's are the slowest non guided, non cone of effect weapon in the game..


Well....they do have a cone of fire. But still the slowest, since MGs don't have a travel speed.

Really?

No launch module?

No updates to Smurfy (other than bug fixes)?

No UI 2.0 updates?

No drastic or errant craziness to make these next few days sparkle? I mean why not just do something with the game that goes against the established game play. Like make it so that heavies and assaults have a speed cap or do no get their x2 speed increases while you bump up mediums and leave lights where they are. Or bump up the stats for all pulse items, remove all ballistics from the game and bring srms up a bunch.

I know these are nonsensical but that's the point. You all haven't cared about testing changes in a long while, why be serious and boring about it now? I feel like this is a lost opportunity to just do something errant, different, and at least interesting (though the first few ideas are practical).

PGI I love your game, but jeez... still hoping you're going to surprise us with something not mentioned.

The launch module is slated for the April 29th patch. It says so right in the update for it.

Stability fixes and crash to mechlab and pure function error fixes. That will mean a lot to the people affected by those bugs!

I think it was PGI devs who themselves said it was hit scan... Though I would not idea where the post would be now..

It was indeed stated by the Devs when they implemented HSR that MGs were included in the first iteraton of HSR - the LASER-HSR - as MGs be Hitscan Weapons like Lasers.

I do not remember about Flamers though my guess is they be Hitscan also.

Vaues about speed etc. may be there for visual fluff reasons...

You mean nerf lights to where they should be...(I am adamant that an Atlas should be able to crush a locust with the hand actuators...)?

I think TitanFall has an Atlas that you can throw punches with. Not to mention Death From Above. :angry:

i doubt it. Aprils fools jokes are told ON the first of april, right? Not a few days before with just a mention it wil happen on that day.

If they really wanted to play a joke on the community they could make a post saying CW is ready on the first.
And then REALLY watch the forums burn when people are told it was a joke ;-)

Almost makes me want to see it happen. If nothing else then to see how long the rage thread would be lol
