I wish there would be a , i call it fun game mode, where you can enter game again after death. like in other shooters. i hate it only to have one life and then you need to search a new game. in the fun mode you play for example 30 minutes and rejoin as much as you want. you dont need to reapair the mech but you dont get any reward also. just a fun mode.

I think there is an upcoming game mode (capture the flag or similar) where respawns may occur.

I've tried to get a sort of respawn type game mode here for a few year but found it to be lackluster, especially to a game where thought is supposed to be involved

most FPS games run like Checkers, while Mechwarrior Online runs like Chess.

Respawns with the same mech would not work, but respawns with a different mech in your inventory would.

Why? That's the way the pods have been running since the 90's.
