I'm new to the game and am really enjoying it, I would like to buy one of the Clan mechs and support the game makers with some money. But I have discovered I don't like mechs with out jump jets, I have looked for some info on these mechs but can't find it. The source for info on the net I found saran.net isn't quite synchronised with the game and I don't want to waste any money on a mech I wouldn't play.
Am I missing a link or information which is blatantly obvious kinda hiding in plain sight .

Many thanks

All the current info is here: http://mwomercs.com/clans

There isn't complete info on non-prime variants, and things are subject to change, but that should give you an idea of which mechs definitely have jjs.

If you hover your mouse over the image of each mech on the bar it gives a loadout for each prime design. Generally speaking though there are some details that PGI has not shared yet, the Clan mechs that come with JJs is the Summoner, and Nova. In the lore there is some mechs like the Timber Wolf and Warhawk that can use pod space to equip JJs but PGI does not seem to be going this route.

These mechs are not announced to be released for the game so take these with a grain of salt! Executioner (Gladiator) and Mist Lynx (Koshi)

Then theres Kodiak not sure if omnimech or not because it was not listed in the Omnimech section.

The 50ton Nova(Black Hawk) and 70ton Summoner(Thor) Are the only ones that come with Jump Jets as part of their base chassi, including the prime variant which gives a bonus to Cbills.

The Thor collection is probably what you want to buy as you get a Kitfox, both of the above and 30 days of premium time. If you only want one mech the Summoner is the most expensive in terms of Cbills so it would be more profitable to buy that one.

Buying both á la carte is a waste of money since it costs 100 instead of 90 and you don't get the kitfox and premium time to boot.

I would hope they put more than just clan Omni's in. The Super Nova is a great example of non omni clan greatness. But our overall viewable info on the clans is lacking, you can look on sarna.net at the chassis listed and typically the first 3-5 variants are around in this time line. But you could do little more than guess what we are going to get.

Thank you for the feed back .. . .
So the clan mechs are there or will there be as many as the Inner sphere mechs?

I am sure there will be quite a few Clan mechs, they will be continually releasing them for the life of the game.

Those are the only ones announced at the moment but I expect them to release every Clan mech that they can as long as they meet the timeline, 3 variants, and not game breaking or require a ton of new code to implement criteria.

The thing that is keeping my wallet closed is the fact that we don't know which variants come with the package. The Summoner has four variants. Do we get to pick which two we want, or are they just the A and B variants automatically? What if I want the B and D variants? Will the D variant even be made available? etc. etc. etc.

It is quite the bummer that there are incentives to purchase early, and as a consumer wanting to know exactly what I am buying, I'm being punished for my unwillingness to just plop down $100.00 for 'whatever is behind door #3'.

Had I known this information ahead of time, PGI would already have my money.

To be fair they've already released the Direwolf it doesn't really get much more powerful than that. Stuff like the Gladiator or the MadCat II might be interesting though.

Read This: http://mwomercs.com/...d-construction/

Sarna here for Configuration details: http://www.sarna.net...egory:OmniMechs

The post also details that they might release omnipods that are not part of the released variants to allow better customizability for example.

Many thanks for your attention to my post, MisterPlanetarian. Sadly, the two links provided did not answer my main question when it comes to the Clan Packages and my pre purchase concerns.

I want an exact list aswell but it is most likely going to be fairly large. eitherway the omni system will let us efficiently mimic any loadout as long as the weapons are ingame.

Some loadouts like the Nova A and Kit Fox C have Double AMS or ECM, knowing if they will be included will be very important.
