Is it that hard to make it like a progress popup window that disappears automatically? I don't care about the 500 cbills I got for assisting a heavy kill.
Who approves these design brain farts? It's like somebody in PGI worships win95 installation design.

I know I'm late to the party on this one, but that's because I was revolted by UI 2.0 and simply refused to play until it's fixed. Sadly, I have to wait for my login rewards to reset in Warframe.

I'd like to see how PGI staff reacted when on each paycheck they had to fill out a form before they received it. This is what this is, and it's real life.
They say they're not robots, but human beings, when it comes to pushing out content. Well everything so far points to the contrary.

Obviously someone at PGI thinks more clicks=more immersion. Everything about UI2 seems awkward and difficult.

I was wondering this myself. It's really annoying actually.

I don't exactly understand what this is about (slight hangover atm), but are raging because you have to click "ok" a single time after a match when you receive an achievement?
Has it come this far with gamers nowadays?
Creating a thread about this probably took more time than the "ok" clicks for all achievements combined.

No only is having to confirm the achivement annoying. But Its also annoying that it doesnt even give you a detailed description of what the achievement is. So you actually have to go look up the achievement to see what it is.

I don't mind clicking the "ok" button. But a description of what was achieved would be nice. The annoying part is having to go to the achievements page to look it up.

What's the point of selecting okay if you don't have a choice about it in the first place?

Well StarCraft got pretty popular with the "actions per minute" model...

Now we're getting into Bioshock territory...

"Would you kindly click OK?"

While not as much of an issue as the loadout screen, I agree it is needless.
While we're at it, I know it's probably been brought up many times before but *four* clicks just to quit?!

Please, from and indie-dev to a dev-dev, the less clicks the better. That's creating G.U.I.'s Chapter 1 right there.

its not so much about clicking OK, its just one more click to UI that is already click heavy. I personally would like something more stream line, less clicks, simpler to use. Also a description would be nice of what I did to earn that achievement. Im sure they are working hard on this, but a little feedback from PGI would be awesome. "Hey guys, we are working on X and X this week, tells us what you think"

So did FarmVille. Should that be the future direction if the game? :)

First thing I did was go into the options and turn off "achievement notifications" - not sure if that turns off the "redeem" function after a match though, that seems to be a required click.

What I really would like to see is the ability to turn off confirmations altogether in the options.

I personally do not like being asked 'are you sure?' every time I select something, remove something etc etc... I clicked it. The select button is wide and not very tall at all so it takes a bit of skill and thought to hover the mouse pointer over it in order to click; meaning making a clicking mistake is difficult.

Just my 3 cents..

Because they think it makes you feel as if you are getting your money's worth.
I also wondered as well why I had to click to move on. It's like they are trying to make you see that the game is getting better.
Pretty transparent if you ask me.

the same reason you have to confirm that you have unlocked a skill in the mech tree. Do you want to do this? Are you sure? You were successfullllhit OK again.

PGI gets paid by the clicks.

I would think telling a player they got an achievement on the spot would be enough, but I must be on an island.

I think the largest reward I have received so far is 15000 Cbills. Which is almost nothing. It'll buy a ton of ammo or something.

And still you have to jump through hoops to receive it. It's not just the click, it's also that the interface refreshing afterwards.

I don't even care about achievements in the first place, but now I downright hate them.

They do seem to have overdesigned confirmations, not to mention the massive amount of clicks to do pretty much everything. I really hope they are starting to pay attention to areas where they can reduce this and improve the flow of the UI!

Oh, and the CBIll rewards are jokingly small, I know that you shouldn't get paid much for something that you only incidentally did, like your first assist in a weight class, but 500 CBills isn't even nearly enough for the smallest weapon on the game. It wouldn't hurt to make it something like 50,000 CBills even at the lowest level of achievements.
