I don't even need that other stuff (not saying I'd not take it though!) Anyone driving an Urbie is playing the game for fun, not being tied up with numbers
Realistically, yeah, it probably wouldn't be the best mech in the game. you know what.
Don't give a ***k. It's a freakin' god amongst the culture of battletech, It belongs in the game, even if PGI needs to make it more expensive the thing is a CHEAP mech normally) i woudl love to play in an Urbie only unit.

Why should it have more armour than anything else its size?
No, the problem for PGI is the same that it's always been: The STD 60 engine the Urbie comes with weighs -1.5 tons in their system. Yep, any sub-100 engine in the MWO system has negative weight.
I guess when they created their system they didn't think it through.

No mech in all of BT could hold more max armor than another one with it's same weight. all 100 ton mechs could go the max of 618 (using MWO double armor values), all 50 tonners could go the max of 338. They all had different stock armor values, but you could adjust these when you customized your mech.

That isn't a problem.
[Handwaving] PGI's system merely assumes some parts of the BT system's engines are part of the chassis. As such, using a sufficiently small engine replaces those parts.[/handwaving]
Poof, you can add engines with zero, or even negative weight. The engine has weight, of course, its not magical; but replacing/removing unnecessary structural support results in weight savings.

If you look at this handy dandy chart:
The total weight of a 100 engine is really 7 tons.
So -2 internal HS requiring 8 external, combined with the 'core' weight of -1.5T, means a SRD60 Engine would weigh 6.5T total.
