maybe introduce tanks/hovercraft or even helicopters in to the game all under 20 tons.
Also, yes. I think you should have a vehicle.
Tanks and Aircraft (VTOLs and Helicopters).
You get one of each class 'free' as a trial, then can buy numerous variants.
Then when dropping you choose a 'mech and a support vehicle, then when dropping you choose which you deploy in first, and if you hit the Eject button in time when killed (1-3 second time frame or something), then you get to deploy from an entrance point at a map edge as 'reinforcements'
Have paint colours work across everything, the support vehicles could have their own camo schemes and 'hero' variants
Think of all the extra sales they'd make selling that stuff!

There'd soon be no place for anything else. Or indeed, anything.
Except Urbies.

Well, there's occasionally a new person adding to the convo, but a lot of us are just replying over and over. Still...

They'd be like Critterball in Critters 2, only with Urbies.

But then people would consider it viable and not call it DOA, leading the non-hardcore/non-true fans to consider piloting it, how dare you suggest such insanity!?
I know right?
However, in all honesty. The Urbanmech is one of those that are decidedly going to be inferior to most of their counterparts, however, they are going to be in high demand by us crazies that play the game for fun.

There's also a 39-page petition to add the Urbie in the Feature Suggestions forum. That thread was started back in 2011, and even featured in one of PGI's first official gaffes and subsequent public excuses.
So yes, the Urbie is quite popular. Here's a 20-page pro- and con-thread from 2012, here's Bishop Steiner's Urbie Love thread, and here's the first thread I could find about Urbie Day.
Googling "site:mwomercs.com urbanmech" gives 6,170 results, and since there's been 1037 days since November 1st, 2011, this means the Urbie is mentioned on these forums an average of six times a day!
You're damn right it is popular.

Terrifying stats there stjobe. Now if only PGI would give us the Urbie, how happy would everyone be? It wouldn't really cost them much. Yes, there are a few players that would think it's a crap mech, but hey, those same players are thinking the vindi is a crap mech, so who cares!?

The hands that touches the Urbanmech are already on the path to righteousness.
