I hate to be the one who throws your dreams away, but the Urbie IIC has only one canon variant. And it's not only Jihad-era, but it's got a HAG, which MWO doesn't have (yet). Expect a lot of PGI variants if you get one, most based on other Urbie variants.

Still, I'd take it; it's easy for PGI to create something with enough hardpoints to have that version. Heck, we could use more IIC variants. I'd still take a Griff IIC or a Commando IIC.

Yeah, PGI can easily create 5 variants for it.
It's never been an especially realistic choice, but everyone knows that.
What it is, is possible, and everyone is having some fun, and who knows, maybe it'll happen?

IIRC the Orion IIC only had the stock configuration outside of one personal customization, and that didn't stop them. They can approximate IS Urbie loadouts if they have to.

There was a time that the thought of a clan Urbie having the same hardpoints would be OP but I really don't see that being an issue now with the new tech.

I mean, lets be honest; with *minimal* effort, PGI could make a nice quick buck. If they put some real effort into it, even more so.

I would *LOVE* if the Hero Urbie IIc was something like "Bandit" to counter Bishop's Deputy Dawg...

Hey, if they can create 2 mechs out of nothingness that have absolutely no lore in the actual fictional universe, they can create some variants.

They have my permission to go a little mad with the hot glue gun like they did with the Piranha and put a ridonkulous amount of weapon hardpoints on. I think I would love to run a 14 to 16 MG Urbie.

Is there such a thing as an urban mech iic and lore wise would it have the same role in the clan tribes ?
What i mean is are the clans as chaotic as innersphere barbarians that a law enforcement / anti riot mech is necessary ? I imagine no .
