I think it must be some miss-communication regarding events.

I think my colleague misspelled the term "Trades" using "Raids" in error and has also embellished the truth with having to leave the Cluster in order to garner more supplies for our humble nomadic group that has some trading connections with our brethren in the northern regions of the periphery. The idea of not being hunted down then that as supplying this soceity with needed food and medical supplies they require but at a much reduced price in comparison, we are very popular with people seeking us out with earnest to buy from us, hence "hunted". And of cause demonstrating any supply concerns to these events or our customers in light of seeing lots of movements into the Inner Sphere and beyond with this increased trade we did not want to lose custom due to lack of material with such popular trading connections.

Understanding trade yourself you no doubt realise the complications of supply and demand I'm sure. I can only imagine that due to stress with the workloads we have had to endure in recent times that it is effecting the abilities of my staff. Apologies for given such a poor indication of our intentions that could be missconstrued otherwise and I will endeveour to see that appropriate R&R is bestowed to such honest and hard working efforts in order to restore clarity to these situations.

Noesis, I can't accept your offer do the already established trading between Clan Merchant Cast - trading with you will sunk any hard earned reputation. More so, I will probably represent only IS allied force that will apply to rules of Zellbrigen when confronting Clan forces, any dealings with Dzerga and possibility for honest combat will be gone for good.

Best you can hope for is neutral relations within Periphery, but if there will be any indications of hostile activity towards civilians - you will be hunted as the rest of bandits.

There is a spark of humanity in Periphery, and will fight for it.

Rest assured we serve little imposed threat to the stability of the periphery or its concerns and are only representing merchant interests in our endeaveours in the periphery. I would only hope to aid the commercial aspects of the perhiery states as a result.

No doubt some of the recent events that we have observed regarding movements of the Clans and some of their recent merchant efforts would be of interest as a form of useful knowledge to your group. And as a sensible buisness man I hope we can at least come to some mutual arrangements as purely some kind of commerical relationship in mind regarding the provision of useful information to supplement your existing efforts in this regard?

Otherwise we may wish to occasionally help the periphery economy with our own custom with whatever trading can be made available to us.

You know that Periphery consist of many proto-states and fractions, no doubt you will easily find someone to trade with even within Hanseatic League - it's merchant state. Just not with one specific merc coalition within it.

Speaking about your offer, I should decline again. My relations with Clans will be based on respect to them and their ways, with no plans of exploiting any weaknesses. As I mentioned before, any encounter will be meet with all of the formalities of batchall and rules of zellbrigen.

There for, there is no need in such information from my side.

Did I say raids? Silly me, I meant to say that you were welcome to join our security detail as we accompany our merchant caste brethren on their trading ventures. Rest assured, as long as there are Cbills to be earned, we will not bring any harm to the fine citizens of the Periphery. :-)

A quick message to throw some light on Dark matters that have come up in conversation with others that I think would help to alleviate mentioned concerns.

The unit represents members who are outcasts from Clan society which for some might be located in the regions in and around the Kerensky Cluster area and the Pentagon Worlds. However Dark Caste members from the Clans also include members who are also located within the periphery itself more localised on the borders of the Inner Sphere within the Clan regional area and the invasion corridors associated with Operation Revival.

The Dark Caste from lore where also represented as insurgents or spies within the Clans themselves and as such would be included within any regions associated with the main Clans as a result even if in small numbers. And at the same time any IS outcasts joining the Dark Born society where they have been accepted into these more criminal elements of BT society.
For Community Warfare in MWO then this gives a whole scope of regional areas that the Dark Caste can effectively play and also with some flexibility. Though as a result not really representing any political power recognised by the major or minor factions, even if at times used as a kind of more secretive mercenary force for more recognised “dirty” work associated with their war efforts.

Due to the nature of the group the Dark Born are not restricted to Clan Tech either and could source IS Mechs and Tech associated with interests more close to the IS states and beyond. This mostly due to any successful raid activities and salvage or other black market connections that in essence the Dark Born also propagates amongst the various factions.

The Dark Born then using both lone wolf definitions applied by PGI for players more interested with casual gameplay either as solo or small team play elements in the public queues for MWO and also as a Merc unit for individuals wanting to play as a part of more organised team games with team or private queues associated with CW or competitive interests.

As such the Dark Born hope to cover all aspects of the Dark Caste and their associates for players accommodating many varied interests and not restricted with Mech or Tech use or origins in how pilots wish to be associated. Both IS origins and tech can therefore be accommodated for anyone who wishes to join this element of the community.

Both members and guests have been helping with the “journey” of the Dark Born and I am of the personal opinion that this unit/community has objectives to support MWO pilots wishing to explore more criminal and nefarious perspectives of MWO game play.
