Hi all,

There does not appear to be a forum for consumer feedback on price points or sale items on existing content. Anyone know where this can be moved to?

I just want to provide the following feedback:

Currently, there are four "champion" bundles and me being a Founder feel somewhat left behind when every pre-order pack comes with more Mech Bays and variants from the outset. Seeing as that ship sailed long ago and I'm in yesterday's shadow, the Bundles appear to have never been updated with new content leaving me nothing really big to make an effort to wait for a sale or make an effort to even get MC points. (Which I didnt make the most use of Premium time that went down the faucet so I dont know what 30 days is going to buy you from the current bundle when work calls and you can't stop using the time).

Seeing as Bundles are all MC, why not just have your basic pack bundles minus the free good stuff you got from the pre-order to make you stand out? In other words, have a Phoenix Bundle that just has the 'Mechs and 'Mechbay, but not the unique pre-order Phoenix 'Mech. When you release the Champion (C) version of the Phoenix 'Mechs, they should be less bonus compared to the specific (P) version of the 'Mech but have a similiar effect this way the pre-order folks get something for being the early bird with the worm and the Johnny come latelys can at least buy something close to it without feeling like being a poor man's loser from the folks with short arms and deep pockets.

There is a lot more to bundles and you can certainly work something out like an Assault, Heavy, Medium, Light Assault Pack and when you get faction warfare running, a specific House Bundle set.

You could also do Weapon Packs, Equipment Packs, Engine Packs, etc.

Unfortunately, due to a lack of bundles the space there at the store is vastly missing variety or browsing options for the consumer here.

Thanks for your time!

The best use of MC is Premium Time, or Hero 'Mechs. Individual Hero 'Mechs have been on sale recently.

The reason that they don't have any packages like Phoenix without the special 'Mechs is that you can buy the non-Phoenix 'Mechs with C-Bills and not spend a penny of real money (other than the 'Mech Bays if you need them, and those are only $1.25 each). The only draw to spend real money on the packages is the special 'Mechs and the free stuff you get with the packages.

And there's a huge pack just waiting for you to purchase it -- the Clan packages. Lots of free stuff, special 'Mechs, other rewards dependent on meeting sales goals, etc.

Otherwise, just do the smart thing and buy 'Mechs with C-Bills.

I mean, I'm a big fan of this game and I've spent over $1,200 on it ... but even I wouldn't buy a package that didn't have any special 'Mechs or other exclusive stuff.

And as far as the weapon/equipment/engine packs go, most people who play this game are cheapskates. They only buy one engine and swap it back and forth between 'Mechs so they don't have to spend imaginary space bucks on extras. It seems dumb to me, as there is an unending supply of imaginary space bucks, but that's the way they do it.

People like me are the minority. If I discover several builds I like of a certain 'Mech, I buy multiples of that 'Mech and set each up with a different build so I don't have to swap stuff out.

In essence, I don't disagree with what you got out of the preorders. This is why I was referring to bundles per se and not so much what you got out of the Founders pre-order, which to date the only bundles currently on the store page have just 4 with one champion 'Mech and loads of other stuff. However, since the advent of Phoenix pre-order, which is what it was, you essentially get what amounts to a nice bundle for a price, and yet the current bundle program on the store page is devoid of things.

Very true. I am often tempted to buy a second chassis of a mech variant I already own due to the differing loadouts I play in MCW vice public queues for example. Or if I have a build I know and love (so I can always revert to it when Im in the mood for a little "old faithful") but I want to test distinctly different builds (like my AC2/5 STD engine BNC vs the AC2x4, XL engine BNC I am gigging around in ).

I'm a 'Mech person myself and own two original copies of the IS and Clan 'Mech Packs for MW4 back when they were rare to come by.

I can see that though it would take a lot of grinding to do just that. And as it stands currently, trying to grind out stats to Elite for 3 'Mechs normally lots me enough cash to move onto the next 'Mech which is nice and follows the odd way wot does it, but not quite the same way.

I should also say that it is feedback like this that should also be taken into consideration as it is a consumer option and they do want something out in return for the investment. I agree the Champ 'Mechs are a bit lacking for being MC only choice compared to a Hero 'Mech. They should have SOME C-bill bonus other than making the 'Mech easier to grind XP with.

Same here. I prefer to have certain select variants of 'Mechs but sometimes when you have a founders JR7-D(F) and looking at the JR7-K, it leaves me no real options to actually keep that 'Mech in my inventory as I am not a big module user and the (F) version is more capable.
