It's been kinda fun to see fellow forum warriors in match from time to time. Kinda a nice cameraderie because not everyone is a regular poster here. So I say keep watching for each other and give a salute. Today, I had an Iraqiwalker and Spheroid sighting.

Just one of the small things that makes us a community.

I've seen Koniving ingame a few times, but he's the only one who springs to mind who's from the forums. I've rolled with a bunch of guys I've seen on the NGNG streams though, that's pretty cool.

Yeah... didn't run into too many forum warriors tonight. must be out of my elo bracket with some of the guys I ran with.

I dunno - I see several of you guys frequently.

Even saw Eglar repeatedly the other day.
(which is either evidence that the Elo brackets don't work - or I am a higher Elo than I thought - or there were other unseen modifications to his/my Elo)
He was always in Alpha and me in Charlie - with him usually on the other side with my team losing badly - but saw him.

Even beat his team at least once.

Even seen you several times playing on other days (If I recall correctly)

All depends on whether anyone is on.
(and that whole - 5minute grouping thing)

I don't tend to keep track of it, but today I've seen Modo44 and Hellenwheels. Bound to be more over the night.

Gotta agree with the original post, it's always cool to see people you recognise from the forums in-game.

Edit: Saw Mason Grimm (space or no?) as well, but I only recognise the name from mechspecs.

Edit the second: I'll agree with Shar Wolf. I've seen Eglar a few times, and whenever he's on the other team it's a case of "do as much damage as possible" before he kills me. Whereas if I have the good fortune to wind up with him on my team, it's stick to his ass and shoot what he shoots >.<

I think I'm in the same boat as you, Shar, my Elo is either much higher than I thought or the brackets are much wider than they should be...

lol I didn't see this post. In fact the elo brackets are fairly wide now. It's really up to who you see "regularly"
Contradicting a a wide-spread belief being in Alpha lance doesn't reflect your elo, it just means that I was prolly in a pre-made lance while being in Charlie means that you were likely solo-dropping.

And yes I remember the game, I was even with Edmiester in a premade and we got stomped by a Steel Jaguar Lance

Usually to busy trying to stay alive to what you are doing - but I have several screenshots of the score (usually with you on the other side - I have exactly one with you on my side )
I do tend to play later in the evening - and up here in Alaska that makes it even later for the rest of the continent.
