I've noticed that if you are in a fast medium and you smash into the side of a jagermech and fire SSRMs they will all hit the side you smash. Probably applies to other mechs but haven't really tested it.

This isn't a Jager thing, it's a matter of the way SSRMs shoot. When fired, they *aim* for a certain body part, but if another body part gets in the way it'll hit that instead. So firing from the side like that is a good way to focus damage, because it's more likely that the closest body part will interfere with the missile flight path and take the most damage.

I know that but im just saying jagers due to hitbox shape are more vulnerable to it and their arms cant block and they almost always have XL engines.

I'd guess the same would apply to Blackjacks, being similarly designed.

Yep. Welcome to the concept of 'facehugging.' Just wait until SRM hit-detection fixes go live.

Griffin jump. Griffin facehug. Griffin fire SRM. Griffin jump away. Griffin profit.

That's why all my Jags have STD engines....

And here I was half expecting it to be something about the vimmin.... but I just came out of reading the updates for that comic so it was to be expected. :D

Welcome to the joys of hitboxes!
The reason I ran Centurion back when the hunchback was the "go-to" medium - the reason I laugh at Shadowhawks being the current "go-to" medium (though that is more twist issues)

The reason I laughed at the Stalker when it was the "go-to" Assault mech.
The reason the poor Awesome is not what it could be.

The reason Jagers still do their best work when working as fire-support and not brawlers

It could be worse - it could be better.

All mechs aside from the one I am using should have hitboxes as wide as the map and I should have no hitboxes....
