Well I looked through the 3 pages here and didn't see this.
The client often gets stuck loading data. It'l "refresh data" or after a match it will just say "connecting" forever. This happens a lot and the only solution is to forcefully shut the program down and start again.
Its not a huge problem. Its just aggravating as hell because it happens so often.

Happens to me as well, also sometimes it hangs while saving a loadout in mechlab.

Since the patch I'm now getting that connecting message also when I logout. Seems silly to connect when I'm quitting the game.

Just for S***s and giggles try this.
Start > Control Panel > Internet Options > Advanced Tab > Click Reset > Click Reset again.

After buying my third mech bay today...just went into infinite "refreshing..." mode. I guess they don;t like you to spend money.
