With clans, come those little annoying things we call powered armor or proto mechs(powered armor's big brother). If we have clans, would we have little power suits that were deployed so often? Some clan mechs escape option was an elemental, so when the mech was destroyed, the pilot would keep fighting. If they implement PA, would it be practical? Maybe for each mech there could be a squad of elementals and... Would that be wishful thinking or a death wish?

They have said before no Elementals. Will they change their stance on that? No idea but in the meantime I would not hold my figurative breath waiting for them.

If they did add them in they would probably be an AI controlled resource of some kind I would think.

I would love to play elementals, but they are so fraggin behind on even putting mechs and faction warfare out I would prefer they get that out first. A team of elementals working together would definately require actual teamwork and tactics and would be for more experienced and skilled gamers, not your everyday soloist or PUG player.

If they do ever implement Elementals it will probably be as a consumable in module slots. Used like arty and airstrike. Target enemy mech in close range and hit the module key and watch Elementals jump all over it. Or they could work sorta like NARC used to. Target enemy mech use elemtals and they attach to it causing armour damage over time but can be removed via damage.

Just to be clear, an elemental is an 8 foot tall man mountain wrapped in a 10 foot tall steel can. Its got a claw capable of ripping mech armor off like the tin foil around a baked potato on one hand and a small laser for the other. There is no way in hell an elemental can fit inside the cockpit of any mech. Even the warrior inside the armor would find it all nigh impossible to get into even the roomiest cockpit.
Powered armor piloting mechs was strictly a MW:LL thing.

I had an idea for power armor but it's a little goofy:
So what if in addition to the 4 trial mechs that rotate out every now and then, there was 1 power armor slot so you always had those 4 mechs and 1 power armor to use?
The thing is that the power armor wouldn't be for the current three game modes, it would have its own specific game mode(s) that it could be used in.
One idea I had was that there could be some sort of objective mode like gathering resources from an enemy base or protecting a large mech from enemy power armor.
The only problem I see aside from implementing this in general is how it would play out or how you would control the power armor, because I don't think they would control like the mechs do. I think they'd have to feel more like foot-soldiers in other shooters, albeit very heavy soldiers. I know that itself would take a whole new build or something to get properly into the game so I don't know if it would be worth the time.
Just some thoughts I'd had.

Well, like in another of my posts, they would be good for training. They are not extremely fast, not too powerful, and take some skill to hit. Just think, you go in a training match(with your friends maybe?) with an AI team of mechs to train against a team of elementals(12 vs 12). You could actually learn something, like tactics and how to aim properly kinda like in TF 2. For a harder setting, you could go against AI mechs. Just some wishful thinking because the Devs seem a little behind right now....

It'll never happen. At least not before I stop playing.
