So have there been any updates to community warfare? Have they gotten around to making their game at least as good as the Battletech 3025 online beta from 10 years ago or is it still just cash grabs?

LOL, they sent a survey?
Thats hilarious. How's it work, if you don't log on for 30 days or something it auto sends?

I just was surprised. I have a couple of other F2P games that I stopped playing and no survey.
Seems a strange thing for a F2P model, they know people are going to leave so why spend money on asking?

I was gone like 6 months or so. The best part is that I actually tried answering it but when hitting submit there was a consistent error. In other words, they can't even be bothered to make sure their surveys of 'why they suck' not suck.
But hey, at least they have my feedback now.

Epic.

Yeah, that 50% includes UI 2.0 apparently being 100% complete, so lolz to that.

nope.
The glacial pace continues combined with questionable decisions.

Thats NOT true.
The Clans got things done.
If the devs where the Clans, then the Clans would have not even built a single mech or conquered a single planet yet.
They would still be trying to balance their weapons!

This would explain why people are in the process of developing external lobby programs that are like the interfaces we used back in 1998 to find matches in Mechwarrior 3.
Being able to easily find matches is, as others have suggested, LOSTECH... And the outgunned forum users are tapping into mothballed Star League era technology that's been secretly hidden by Comstar to surprise the arrogant clans in the battle of Tukayid.
Although, perhaps a better analog would be that Mechwarrior fans are the clans, and are in an exodus to Clanspace after the Usurper (PGI) has brought down the Star League and thrown the entire Inner Sphere into disarray.
Some day we will return with awesome new gameplay mechanics, while the Inner sphere is only then beginning to rediscover things like "interfaces which don't take 1000 clicks to do trivial tasks", or "groups".
