Hey guys, anyone tried the Boom Bell on the new chassis?

I think the AC20 with jump jets and some ammo is pretty legit in certain situations. Pretty viable in 12 mans I think, especially when weight limits come into play.

I don't own an AC20-capable raven to run the Boom Bell, but I think it could be fun.

Worth it?

They are fun, usually refer to them as Boom Chickens, have run a flock of them before in pug drops with the raven 4x.. don't really think it's a reason to buy the Huginn when the 4x does it already though..

C-bill boost.

Make more c-bills in the hero then in a normal mech. Why do you think there hasn't been any assault or heavy MISSILE boat hero mechs?

If your willing to skip on jumpjets

you can do 28 shots going 101.8 kph in the Raven
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...d79ebc2279bb43d

You would need to go 91.6 kph if you wanted to fit
a jumpjet - ac 20 - 28 shots - 91.6 kph
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...d5737aa12895af6

or the standard engine AC 20 cicada with 28 shots going 95 kph with 4 points shaved from each leg

0 armor on the other torso though

lb 10x cicada - 45 lb shots - 4 mediums lasers - 11 doubles - 118 kph
or take out the heatsink and do 124 kph

Damn Kesuga7 that awesome is sper unique! A+ for creativity, that also seems to work fairly well.
I personally like the raven with an XL195, 1 JJ, 21 shots, 98 ish KPH. Once im out of ammo im pretty beat up usually and thats when I use my arty strike.

Why the 3C when the 3M gives you ECM. You have to sacrifice a few KPH though. It's worth it.

I've always enjoyed the LBX10 raven. You can squeeze good speed out of it with a decent amount of ammo, which lets it be a nice back killer.
