How are C-bills calculated? What's the formula vs damage, component destruction or crits?
Also reading the crit guide I read reference to a repair bill....lol....and salvage, could someone provide the details? Is there an I game C-bill breakdown I'm missing?

At the end of the match you can switch to the secon tab which gives a breakdown of your action that match and how many CB and XP you earned.
Note that rewards for actions changes er game mode; kills & assists pay only half on Conquest mode (but Conquest has the additional Resource bonus)
Here is a list of rewards per action (ie, ak ill on Assault mode = 5000 ) http://mwo.gamepedia...ow_Your_Bonuses

Kill or assist, you ultimately get the same or close. The kill gets the kill payout plus a component destruction which is nearly the same as an assist.
But yes. Even something so insignificant as a machine gun bullet will net you an assist.

I'm guessing spotting/TAG/NARC will net an assist as well (just speculating from the 0 Damage, 1 Assist players I've seen at the End of Match screen.)

The zero-damage ones are people who only held lasers on for a split-second -- enough to register, but not enough to do a full point of damage.

That's an assist netted from doing less than "1" damage, i.e. a single MG bullet (is 0.4 damage).
Collisions do less than 1 damage, particularly when accidental or low speed or delivered by a light to a much larger target.
The game rounds damage up and down. You may also find it's possible to have more than 100% accuracy due to this phenomena, too. Particularly since an MG can hit two targets at once with the same bullet.
